Superplayboy - what a name...
...not to mention "Superplayboy for Him". Well, the name choice wasn't exactly a big effort from the Playboys. The bottle also leans more towards "quick and carelessly slapped on a label". Oh well.
I've generally been circling around the brand because I can't relate to the whole Playboy franchise at all. To me, it represents a repressed, artificial, American old man's magazine - but I must admit that I'm not really a big Playboy expert.
I've set aside my prejudices for now (how tolerant of me!) and tested the first perfume I came across - the Superthing.
So, it's really not that bad. The apple-y opening does confuse me a bit, but after a while, a surprisingly decent, warm, spicy perfume remains that can definitely be appreciated. Really.
I also don't think the fruity note is that disturbing - there are much worse pink fruit slushes at a much higher price.
But it's still not a Superplayboy!
