Okay, the bottle is a nuisance, but the scent.....
The lovely Pudelbonzo made me curious with her comment, and I surfed the internet for Pure DNA. There I found this fragrance for a mere 9.00 including shipping. You can't go wrong with a spontaneous order, it's practically a gift. Pure DNA was the third scent to join my collection this week; I could really use my own fragrance cabinet by now.

Pure DNA is a surprise in a positive sense. A light oriental, I don't perceive the jasmine (thank goodness), the violet starts right away along with the spices, and the patchouli is fine and subtly dosed. My husband sniffs at my wrist, mmm, light and summery. That's the amazing thing about this scent; the oriental aspect is undeniable, but Pure DNA is not an oriental heavyweight, rather it is herbaceous, dry-powdery, and fresh. And definitely wearable in these temperatures. Towards the base, the fragrance becomes a bit warmer and softer, finishing with a hint of fine vanilla and musk.

Longevity and sillage are in the medium to weak range, and the bottle looks dreadful. However, it is heavy and better crafted than I expected. Right now it sits on the sideboard because I need to make some space for the newcomers. Every time I walk past the bottle, I think it’s going to FIZZ, FIZZ and a cloud of scent will come out, like those air fresheners. But that's also the only downside to this fragrance, and at this price, it's definitely worth it; the scent more than makes up for it. And for the guys, Pure DNA might be too powdery, oh well, just give it a try.

Change of Senses
I admit, during my demo days, a fragrance from the house of Police would not have made it into my bag.
The police were the natural enemy of the demonstrator.
But life had it that I met an exceedingly nice young man from this profession, who made me thoroughly reconsider my prejudice.
He clearly came from the friend and helper corner and often stood by my side with certainty. We became friends.
Having been thus enlightened, I approached Pure Femme without reservations - and I have not regretted it.
The police practice exemplary de-escalation with the use of blooming, bright jasmine, paired with a lovely violet.
Really romantic.
But then it gets more serious, with aromatic clove and deep patchouli, mixed with a bit of sandalwood.
A turn in a more bitter direction.
Musk and vanilla create an unexpectedly mild, smooth finish.
A surprising fragrance - more beautiful than the police allow.

I am glad to have set aside old prejudices - and not just because of this remarkable fragrance.

...that's how it stands in the store. too bad, because it's actually not that bad. one of the few that I liked right away. however, I wear it rather rarely. I prefer something heavier and more feminine. it's oriental, but not heavy. pleasantly nice, not overpowering. it just smells good. but not stunning.

Lightly Oriental
After spraying, the scent is rather slightly bitter, almost like a men's fragrance. But it develops into a subtle oriental scent, smelling beautifully of sandalwood. Not too heavy...

Spicy-floral, rather unsweet, can't identify any single components except jasmine. Interesting.

Spicy floral powdery scent, vaguely reminds me of Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir... For the price: not bad!

Despite its sweetness, it's lovely and flattering. Too bad it fades away so quickly.

A warm, dry, slightly floral-spicy, unsweetened cream scent.

Unfortunately, it's too oriental and herbal for me. I like the unsweetened floral opening, but the base notes (especially the clove)
I really don't like. What a pity!
