Synthetic mess
Words can't describe how bad this smells, so I'll keep it short don't waste even £10 or dollars on this monstrosity of a perfume. It is vulgar from the naff bottle to the chemical smell it harbours. Reminds me of cheap market stall knock offs that sell under £5. I'm embarrassed I had this now. No sandalwood is detected just chemicals galore.

Skull Splitter
For Halloween, something truly wicked. Something to send shivers down your spine: a true skull splitter.

A prime example of the many sugary little waters that dabble in fruitiness, flirt with floral notes, but are primarily made up of sugar water, which not only clouds the senses but also glues them together.

“To Be Woman” by Police is one of the most typical examples of this category that I have ever sniffed. And I am certainly not a fussy nose, but I have quite a few skeletons in my fragrance cellar (see my collection).

In the top note, the announcement of disaster is already present: sugar water + a hint of something fruity (could be interpreted as slightly tart blackcurrant). Later, it becomes even sweeter, but not as appetizing as the fragrance pyramid suggests: everything is 100% synthetic from the deepest catacombs of the most underground of fragrance labs. In the base, there’s still synthetic decay alarm: even the cleanest cedar and the cleanest musk can’t save it. Sugar water remains sugar water and sticks -- like the crime on the hand of the criminal!

A scent that is hardly worth any comment. But if I can save even one bottle-crazy nose from blindly purchasing this abomination, then it has already been worth it.

Let’s be honest: those who produce something like this should be handcuffed, interrogated for hours, and subjected to a just (Parfumo) punishment.

Great bottle with a grandiose content!
Police to be was initially only available for men, but now there is also a scent for us women. A pink skull in glass design forms the bottle of to be. It immediately catches the eye in the perfume store. That's why I curiously reached for it to test it right away in a perfumery. Given the relatively low price, I didn't expect too much at first, but I was surprised! Inside this rebellious, pink skull bottle with the large inscription Police lies a wonderfully beautiful creation of sweet and fruity scent notes! At first, I perceive the smell of fruity gummy candy. It simply smells delicious and despite its sweetness, it is very fresh (probably due to the Granny Smith). I also detect a hint of citrus fruits. I like the scent right away!
Over time, it develops on the skin into a wonderfully diverse, cozy fragrance. It is by no means intrusive, but it doesn't fade away too quickly either.
I distinctly imagine smelling strawberry and also hazelnut cream.
The scent is innovative and really blows you away!
Towards the end, the perfume smells slightly bitter on my skin, but I still like it just as much as at the beginning.

Conclusion: A fantastic, multifaceted fragrance!

Kitsch as Kitsch can
What a bottle! I absolutely had to have it; the content only interested me on the sidelines. It's kitschy, the pink skull, oh yes... but I am a woman and I simply love kitsch... period...
The scent itself promises a lot... rock candy, hazelnut cream, chocolate, strawberry, caramel liqueur... sounds quite adventurous, exciting, unconventional.
It sounds like a woman who does what she pleases, and she doesn't care about anything or anyone. I thought, "I like her!"
So much for the theory.
In practice, "To be Woman" is primarily one thing: sweet. Fruits can be vaguely sensed, but not identified. Unfortunately, with the top note, TbW doesn't go beyond that (for me).
As a big fan of sweet gourmand scents, I am somewhat disappointed with TbW. It is very weak, missing the entire heart and base notes.
At least the bottle is an eye-catcher.

A Synthetic-Sweet Smash
Many thanks to Wiebke for letting me test To Be (Woman) with you :-) She really likes this synthetic candy bomb, but I am rather ambivalent about it. The longevity and sillage could also be improved.

The top note starts off very sweet and synthetic. I can detect candy and indistinguishable fruits. The heart note remains sweet with a hint of cocoa and floral undertones. I cannot identify the base notes listed in the fragrance pyramid here. In the base, sticky sugar water with artificial strawberries dominates.

Can we call this thing a girl’s fragrance? At least, I don’t see it on a woman with a certain life experience. After all, I was able to provide Wiebke with a great alternative in Woman No. 1 ;-)

Citrus sweet scent! Begins like sugared oranges, ends up smoothing out and smelling exactly like Versace Dylan Purple. Woody base but still fresh.

Very sweet, very synthetic, not easily definable, ugly bottle, teens love it, but it’s not for me.
