Typical Fruity Rose
I like this but not enough to buy a bottle. It's simple, and pretty, but nothing special. I got the sample set from this house and while I thought most were nice, I wasn't crazy about any of them. I'm not loving this one either, but this and the neroli musk, also from this line, are nice, wearable, uncomplicated day scents.
As for this fragrance it's a lightly sweet watery rose with a fresh profile due to the lily of the valley and a touch of black currant fruitiness. I am not getting the base notes at all. It lasts for about 4 hours with soft silage. It strongly reminds me of Kim Kardashian's Fleur Fatale, which I think smells better and is a fraction of the price. As there are lots of other perfumes out there in a similar vein of a fresh fruity rose, it's not something unique to the genre, nor is there anything here that sets it apart, at least enough for me to buy it.
I've reached the point in my fragrance journey where I'm more discerning in what I buy, and unless it fulfils certain criteria, one of which is that I have to love it, I won't buy it. The last thing I need is an unworn fragrance sitting in an already full to capacity fragrance wardrobe. And as is true of Neroli Musk, this is way overpriced for what it is.
