A truly spicebomb

Love at first sniff. I rarely like sweet fragrances but it's hard to resist this sensual proposal.
A strong note of cardamom dominates the first hour over a dense and delicious amber core. There's like a bowl of spices (I mean, a lot) giving a solid and robust character, sweet and dry, almost too pungent, but it's very well balanced with florals. Marvelous dark concoction.

I think the name "leather" could be misleading, because leather is so mild that you can barely smell it among other more prominent notes. There's even a smoky nuance that is more of a protagonist than leather through the entire life of the fragrance.

Oud is not evident. If you look for it, you will probably find it, but it's mostly there for a supporting rol and not be obvious.

Pretty linear with excellent projection and lasting. This could easy nose blind you because is very intense for the nose, so definitely do not overspray it. Presentation is beautiful.

My new favorite Oud fragrance (inspired by Nishane Nefs)

I am not a fan of Oud fragrances, so it says a lot that I rate this scent an 8.5.
It is said to be inspired by Nefs.
A very interesting niche fragrance, and "Junoon Leather for Men | Rasasi / الرصاصي" also smells high-quality, niche.

The fragrance starts sweet, spicy, and oudy.
A bit alcoholic, but that fades quite quickly.
The Oud here reminds me a bit of oudTouch, just woodier, more high-quality, and not as sweet.
The floral notes are quite in the background, I hardly notice them.

In the dry down, the floral notes become slightly more present.
They give the fragrance a noble freshness.
Nevertheless, the Oud dominates, which smells pleasantly sweet and spicy.
The sweetness comes from the amber, the spiciness from the cardamom.
But it never becomes too sweet, never too spicy, and also never too oudy.
A very well-balanced, noble fragrance that smells very expensive.

In the end, I only perceive an inexplicably sweet, smooth note that I really like.
I can only minimally perceive the musk at that point.

Although it is a fragrance for men, I can also imagine it on a fine lady.

Longevity on my skin is 8-9 hours, with a projection that is well noticeable in the first hours.
Not a beast, but also not a weak fragrance.

Not suitable for summer, more for colder days, for certain occasions, meetings, etc.
A fragrance that makes you smell like a boss.

My conclusion: Not a perfume to buy blindly.
Oud fans, but also those who want to venture into Oud that is very mass-appealing, should definitely test this one.
For currently just under 48 euros, definitely worth every cent.
I will probably get a bottle sooner or later.

I already have a signature scent

My first comment in a while on Parfumo.de.
Through one of my blind buys (like about 85% of my fragrances), I found my signature scent.
Sharings are really great, and this way you can buy a fragrance with just a few ml, without having a bottle lying around that takes up a lot, a lot of space.

It was through a sharing that I got "Junoon Leather for Men." Although I don't like leather at all, I thought, oh, testing won't hurt :D Finally arrived and immediately tried it on paper and?....?....? Yuck!!!!! Why did I pick this when it smells so strongly of leather? Well, I set it aside and tested the other fragrances. 20-30 minutes later, I smelled it again and now? OMG!! How awesome is this? It smells almost as great as my signature scent.
The leather scent really only lasts a very short time. Oud is not perceivable to me. Floral notes come through very strongly, and therefore it's understandable that some think it's a feminine fragrance. I find amber to be very noticeable.

For me, the scent remains smelling the same for a very long time after about 40-60 minutes. Little has changed.

For me, it's quite a good fragrance, so I ordered a bottle right after testing it. Wearing it at school, I received 4 compliments from women, and now my colleague has it too.

If you like floral-spicy fragrances, this one is for you.

Very dark and strong opening with oud, leather and spices but also floral. The drydown is much smoother and sweet with amber and white musk.

A gentle dusty-leathery, yet thick and creamy/sweet spicy-resinous Winter fragrance, with a slightly pungent animalic spicy-floral opening.

I didn't know what I was testing. Thought it was leather in a heavy sweet candy broth. Somehow fascinating, but also hooker diesel. -Wow, it's for men!
