DE LIRIUS (RENIER)
De Lirius from Renier Perfumes House of the Czech Republic represents peace and balance. It is a clean and reassuring fragrance, especially inspired by the Cuban flower White Ginger Lily; known in Brazil as White Lily Of The Swamp.
This Extrait De Parfum from the Taino Collection opens fresh green and with a sweet tropical fruitiness; evolving into a white floral with a rather realistic earthy nuance followed by spices dominated by a fresh cardamom.

And it goes on to a base of woody notes that gives more depth to this fresh and tropical fragrance and always permeated by a beautiful musk signature of Casa Renier. An original unique exotic creation that does very well in the heat.
Delicious Tropical Green Floral Fruity Woody Earthy Musky Spicy Fresh Perfume. A delicious comforting fragrance with great performance!

Nice smell but not the beast i expected
First of all i must say that i like this fragance. It is a delicate fruity & Green floral very weareable and versatile. But after having tried It i must say also that i am a bit dissapointed. I had seen Manu reviews on internet and in YouTube where Well known specialist in fragance reviews talked about the lasting power and the strong sillage of de lirius: "one of the strongest perfumes ive tried" - used to say one - "a real beast" "the perfume with the highst projection i have ever tried" - said another one... So i had very Big expectations with this perfume! So i bought a sample (i was thinking even of buying a full bottle based on the critics) and i put It on my wrinkles this morning and... Nothing! Is It a nice perfume? Yes! Do i like It? Of course! Would i buy a full bottle or a bigger decanter? Maybe... But this is not what most reviews describe! I have other floral perfumes stronger, like for example carnal flower by Frederic Malle, which in adition are even cheaper.

The perfume smells like flowers, Green leafes, tropical fruits... It is like the smell of a tropical jingle (or how i can imagine It should smell).

The performance is not bad... Good longevity (i have been about 8 hours with It now and i can still feel It) but the projection is just average. This is suposed to be a extrait de parfum but if It said It is an edp i would relieve It because It is not as dense and intense as other extraits i have tried.

I find the perfume unisex, very versatile and better for daily use.

In the Delirium of the "Exotic" Years
Tropical Edition. Exotic Taste! With Ananas Flavour! Feel the Tropics!

It all started, as so often, with cocktails. They had to be colorful. In huge glasses. With little umbrellas. A half fruit salad hanging on the rim of the glass. Grenadine here, Blue Curacao there. Pineapple juice, pour it in! Tequila Sunrise with the sunset effect, the squeaky blue swimming pools - did I mention the "Blue Lagoon" already? Blue Curacao, vodka, Sprite. Goodness, my kidney. BATIDA de COCO to the point of excess. XUXU. Strawberry Margarita and Mango Daiquiri. Bahama Mama. Planter's Punch.

The Exotic Delirium spread. Suddenly there was Wrigley's Exotic and Fanta Mango. Fisherman's Friend Exotic? Really now? My aunt switched to passion fruit cake instead of bee sting on Sundays. And tropical shower gels in abundance. And ice creams. Red Bull Exotic. Gatorade Lychee. Guarana Antarctica. In winter, you could now get Acerola C lozenges with tropical flavor instead of orange. In the shisha, there were only mango or coconut flavors left. Cigarillos with lime-rum flavor. Instead of blueberry and peach yogurt, my friend stocked the fridge with acai-lime and passion fruit-guava. At every barbecue, someone had to bring a fruit salad, which then, thanks to the pomegranate, would later require a repainting of the kitchen. Pineapple-mango tiramisu. Yikes.

In short: We were spoiled by the "Tropical Aroma Machinery." And many have a hard time with tropical-fruity contents in perfumes, as these are immediately associated with Axe shower gels and aunt's cakes.

With this background, I dare to write a little about this fragrance.

Yes, it IS a tropical scent and it is fruity too. So you can either change the channel or keep reading.

Pomelo and soursop create a sour-creamy-exotic scent profile. The fragrance resembles a ripe pear with citrus sprinkles. As a counterpoint, guava, cardamom, and pepper add a sweet, spicy, and above all, green note. The whole thing feels very high quality. The tropical fruits are skillfully staged, nothing is too sweet or sticky or squeaky. The scent is very green, moist, fruity, and sweet-sour in the overall picture during the first 30 minutes. The bitterness of the leaves or the "green" - the plant sap - reminds me a bit of Black Citrus by Vilhelm.

Gradually, moderate white flowers join in - the scent becomes a bit heavier, but still very pleasant to wear. I smell the wet goat's leaf and the lily.

As an undertone, there is a clear ground structure - vetiver, patchouli, and the woods give off a damp, earthy (but rather clean) forest floor. The whole thing is only very lightly dark and supports the main actors green and fruity on their journey through the tropics.
The bitter-sweet guava and the green leaves run through the entire fragrance.

There will be no "real" Cuban jungle to be found here, even though that was the theme of the perfumer - the scent is too clean and too fruity for that. But it is a very well-made, high-quality result that packages the exhausted tropical theme into a perfume for 2020.

I really like the scent, but I can't wear it every day. Longevity is quite remarkable at about 8 hours. The first two times I wore the fragrance, I received two positive comments. That actually never happens to me, and I’m not particularly interested in it. I was just surprised.

MUST test if you are interested in the theme. Love or Hate. There’s nothing in between. And now goodbye. My coconut-kumquat yogurt is waiting in the fridge.

Super joyful fruity scent, without being teen leaning. A happiest and less mature version of Un Bel Amour d'Été. Powerful indeed!

Floral notes on a green base, calmly balanced. Fruity musk, gentle woods. Well-crafted but really not my thing.

Pomelo, floral-green.........I particularly like the vetiver note with the guaiac. But all together, it's not for me.

Damp green, paired with very real but vague tropical fruitiness. Easy to wear & pleasing. (Barely any earthiness!)
