A really beautiful fragrance with oud
I really like Oud Rain.
The oud is really the main player in this fragrance. I can perceive the oud from the very beginning and it lingers until the end.
It is well designed, has few rough edges and yet it is not totally polished.
As mentioned, the fragrance starts with a perceptible oud note.
In my opinion, the listed fruity notes in the head are not as present as you might think. There are some listed, but they are not really noticeable. The fruity notes are there, but they are simply very subtle. They round off the oud a little at the beginning, or rather, they simply make it more "pleasing".
As time goes on, saffron and nutmeg add slightly spicy impressions.
Both notes are perfectly dosed and used to match the oud.
The oud itself now also becomes somewhat more intense.
A pleasant rose then also joins in.
I'm not really a big fan of rose, but in this case I think it's great again.
Towards the end, the oud even gets a little more rough edges, but is still really pleasing and pleasant.
It is far from being a "stinker".
