More Green Than Blue
Forget its name for a moment. If you have a soft spot for Uomo Eau de Toilette, don't buy this without trying it because they are two colognes apart, and this is not a flanker nor a spin-off of the OG. The gourmand and nutty facets are missing. That said, Urban Feel is a beautiful fragrance in the mineral, woody, and watery genres.

To begin with, the cologne expands with a splash of fresh citrus, warm woods, and aromatic herbs, evocative of some of the other fresh, blue colognes. I can think of one in particular that I've used, but the name escapes me right now. I perceive the sapidity of citrus peels, the creamy bergamot, that of green lemon or lime, sour and rough, with a pleasant touch of slightly ozonic saltiness and a balsamic caress that recalls cardamom pods and spruce. Sometimes, the balmy and minty nuances reminisce the Vicks Vaporub ointment. Also, the smoky and resinous undertones of the base quickly come to the fore. I'm unsure if there is a coffee accord; I don't perceive coffee beans or espresso. Then, the crowd-pleasing treaties that dominate the opening are mentholated, balsamic, and herbaceous. Fresh, but without that barbershop or fresh out-of-the-shower vibe.

The heart of Urban Feel keeps the initial airy and watery freshness, which I can breathe in the centers of northern cities near the sea on crisp late winter mornings when spring is upon us, and it has recently rained. The woodiness comes from dry cedar wood, very perceptible, even if not too similar to pencil shavings. In the middle of the journey, incense smoke takes its place. I am fascinated by the watery aspect, which is not the marine one. Here we find humid and dewy nuances that mainly come to me from driftwood and ozonic accords. Despite cumin, the overall scent doesn't resemble BO or sweat.

The dry-down stays within the comfort zone, nothing revolutionary. The leathery cistus and smoky incense are the most noticeable notes on my skin. Instead, the patchouli barely reaches me, perhaps too cleaned up and overshadowed by the other elements.

Finally, both sillage and longevity are moderate, say half a day, with an intense fragrance during the first hour, which is not expected from a perfume with ambroxan. It is an ideal scent for spring and summer rotation, the day, and the office. About the name, Urban also means local, cosmopolitan, modern, a sort of city feel, and this cologne admirably fits it.

I'm basing my review and opinion on a sample I've owned since March 2021.

Regret brings nothing in life. It belongs to the past. All we have is the now. Marlon Brando
Why do we mourn the scents that were trendy and cool twenty years ago? Why do we not find the fulfillment in today's Ambroxan jungle that we remember from the past? Was it the pseudo-romanticism that today's populists want to deceive us with in a folklore memory that never really existed? Or is there really something to the past with more simplicity and honesty? Politically speaking, probably not, but in terms of fragrance, a clear yes.
Today, you buy a scent with the remark that its longevity is above average, and you end up with a eunuch that screams the highest notes in the first two seconds and then only longs for its missing balls and the successful time of past potency.
Why did Dior discontinue Eau Sauvage Parfum after just two years and then release a cologne version with the same name?
Why do fragrances that have a sillage that can be called strong only offer sweetness, liqueur, or lipstick with a powder accord? Because the Marlboro Man has long been dead.
Currently, we only get designed, watered-down fragrances on the market that are a bit stronger in sillage. The robust summer scents like Versace l'homme, Aramis Havana, or in extremis a Kouros have ended up in the trash like tobacco advertising. Good for some, unfortunate for others, as strong scents also represent a strong possibility for the individuality of each person. This is unfortunately not so easily achievable with the many gum and cotton candy products. You take a fragrance and quickly disappear into the anonymous crowd. This is a shame and, given the high prices, almost unnecessary. When you enjoy a Chinotto in a café on a summer evening, you usually get hit from the left, right, front, and back by the same fresh, sweet family.
Thus, we praise fragrances that still escape the zeitgeist today and evoke a bit of nostalgia with a stronger sillage. One must not misunderstand the criticism; of course, there are good to very good fragrances with a sweet, pleasant theme, but in this time of many resentments towards differing opinions, it is almost a test of courage. We praise fragrances like this Uomo Urban Feel, whose namesake actually belongs to the Playboy and Boris Becker fragrance faction, but otherwise, it is a very pleasant, light, yet still more intense scent that can be worn well in summer. For the darker days, it feels too light and lemony until the slightly heavier fragrance time with the incense arrives. This incense is the second base, where other woods usually come in. Therefore, it is also a bit more special than the products with similar lightness this year. Those who like incense, not in the heaviness of Armani Privé's "Bois d’Encens," but in an airy lightness, will find this very satisfying. Unfortunately, the longevity is not very long-lasting; the brothers from UOMO can do significantly better, with the Signature being the standout, which can also be worn in summer. This Urban is a positive product compared to the current lightweight fragrances, which can be worn as a good alternative when it's hot, as the incense is still slightly recognizable after hours. In the hope for times with greater sillage and a return to better simplicity, I wear this fragrance and regret nothing; all we have is the now.

Who invented it? Alberto! Who exactly? Morillas!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
it’s time for me to add my two cents again. This time it’s about another fragrance from Alberto Morillas’ workshop - Uomo Urban Feel.

Preface:
Those who have read my previous reviews know that I like Alberto Morillas’ fragrances. I have particularly taken a liking to Acqua di Giò Profumo, so I decided to test more of his perfumes. This led me to both Bvlgari Man Terrae Essence and Uomo Urban Feel, which I probably wouldn’t have noticed otherwise.

The Fragrance:
As soon as I opened the packaging of the perfume, a strong cloud of sage rushed towards me, causing my eyes to widen in surprise. Wow… phew… okay… interesting…
One thing was certain, I had never smelled a perfume like this before. Often, perfumes start off with a citrusy freshness from bergamot or the like. Bergamot is indeed included here, but upon spraying, I perceive more sage and ginger.
You all surely know the sage candies from a well-known Swiss manufacturer?! Then you have a good impression of how Urban Feel smells at the beginning.
The opening is something new and I am excited about it.
Gradually, the sage recedes and the typical Morillas freshness takes its place, delighting the nose.
I already made the comparison to a thunderstorm with Acqua di Giò Profumo, that metallic freshness that wafts around your nose can also be found here.
I’m not sure, but I believe it’s the frankincense, which is present in both Profumo, Terrae Essence, and Urban Feel, that creates a certain similarity in the base. Please don’t get me wrong, all three fragrances are completely different and independent, but in the drydown, they share a similar DNA that I really like. Fresh, yet masculine. Unobtrusive, but still seductive.
The fragrance is unobtrusive, if you disregard the first 10 minutes right after spraying. It lasts quite well. For the first 4 hours, it holds up nicely, and for the following 6 to 8 hours, it is close to the skin but still noticeable. At times, I also associate it with freshly washed laundry once the sage has dissipated.
It is excellent for the hotter days. Although it has a certain spiciness, it is somehow a cool, fresh scent. It is suitable for men from about 25 years old and can be worn in leisure and at the office.

Conclusion:
Characteristic of this perfume is the sage, the (not listed) ginger, sea salt, and frankincense. A slightly sour sage spiciness that transitions into a metallic freshness and has a light woody base.
It is a special fragrance with a recognizable character, and I can only recommend testing it.
The bottle is a slightly curved one, in a dark blue. The name of the label “Ferragamo” is embossed on the edge, modernly styled like graffiti. Unfortunately, the bottle does not have a cap or lid. It only has a semi-circular plastic ring that is clamped under the spray head. The sprayer itself is mediocre. It serves its purpose. A major downside is that the glass is opaque and looks like cheap plastic. You have no chance of seeing the fill level. Only weight and a small shake test could provide some insight here. Unfortunately, the bottle does not convince me, but luckily it’s about the content, and that is good.
The price of Urban Feel is also quite reasonable.

Summary:
Fragrance: 7.5
Longevity: 7
Sillage: 7
Bottle: 5
Price-Performance: 8
Even though I have now added my two cents about this perfume, I hope it hasn’t affected the fragrance experience ;) Mustard and sage probably don’t go well together haha. As always, thank you for reading until the end, and I hope my contribution was helpful to you.

Best regards
Your Gentleman

One-Dimensional Shower Gel Scent
Smells broader and fresher for a short time after spraying, then becomes a typical, fresh shower gel scent, in the direction of Dylan Blue, just a bit quieter, much quieter. If it hadn't been so cheap, I wouldn't have bought it. The Tiramisu Uomos are much better for longer. This one has nothing in common with those scents, except for part of the name. For me, it's just another unnecessary fragrance. The longevity is also poor, just over 2 hours, then it's over for me.

City Trip through Italy
Uomo Urban Feel was my first real summer fragrance - purchased before influencers shaped my taste.

For me, it embodies a fresh, citrus-spicy breeze with a Mediterranean flair - almost like a stroll along the Italian coastal city. Especially the mandarin-bergamot vibes, combined with sea salt and sage, feel light yet characterful.

I believe this fragrance receives far too little recognition - it is easy to wear, unisex, and distinctive. A true underdog in the summer shelf!

The redheaded stepchild of the line. No coffee but an gorgeous blue fragrance overall that doesn't need to hide. Hidden gem

I get fizzy ginger from this. Surprised to see ginger nowhere near the notes. Average performance but great for everyday casual wear

Typical Morillas. It leans slightly towards Acqua Di Gio Profumo with salty aquatic notes, sage, and incense-Ambroxan. Nothing special, but okay.

I think it's really good. Spicy aquatic, but with endurance. Lasts long and has a nice spicy finish. Fresh summer staple.

Acqua di Morillas feat. S. Ferragamo. Juicy, slightly synthetic orange with a cool sea breeze. Acqua di Gio Summer Splash ??? :-)

A more intense version of a typical summer cologne. Definitely good for the office if you prefer something subtle. Overall, it's quite okay...

I like the brand, but this scent is nothing special. Spicy everyday fragrance with sage and salt, but unfortunately way too boring and uninspired.

The alternative from Ferragamo for those who don't want to smell like sweet Italian desserts. Woody, masculine, not sweet. A rather understated release.
