Smooth, soft woody peach
When I apply this fragrance, I do smell a peach note. Not a juicy, ripe, tart and luscious peach, but a smooth, soft one, slightly syrupy, without the overbearing fruity sweetness. I was wondering why Skylar would release this in the middle of winter but now I get it. It's a fuzzy peach scent that gives off cozy vibes. It's not warm in the literal sense of the word, but the scent does kind of envelop you and gives you comfy sweater vibes. Peaches aren't the lone star here. They share the space with delicate flowers and woody accords. I didn't detect a lot of grapefruit or mandarin orange notes as they blend in with the peach note to enhance it. The drydown becomes more of a generic end note type of perfume (probably because of the musk) with a touch of peach ghost.

Overall it's a nice fragrance for someone that wants something fruity, soft and inoffensive. It can be worn close to people because it's not a powerhouse although it does have some sillage. First time I got it, I didn't think it was all that, but as I found myself reaching for it more and more, I finally realized it has grown on me. Now that I have had the chance to test other perfumes with peach in it, I've come to realize I like this version where lovely peaches share their fruitiness with woods and delicate flowers.

Can't bring myself to get rid of it
I can never decide if i like this—upon application it burns my nose, and gives me a mild headache on bad days, but I always decide it’s not so bad when it dries down to something much softer. The peach top note smells chemically in a ‘peaches soaked in hydrogen peroxide’ way that is only just made bearable by the wood and floral notes. Once that fades (which takes a little while), there’s a nice balance of wood and osmanthus that feels grounded with just a hint of fruit lingering around it. I always feel Skylar fragrances are pretty limited when it comes to their notes—there are other notes listed, but you sure can't smell any of them beyond the big 3 they put on the packages.

Peach.. Or Fig?
Peach fields. Osmanthus, white peach and sandalwood.. or so it claims.

It does open with something lightly peachy and tea like. Osmanthus definitely gives me a tea like quality at times so it may be that.

But after a minute or two I get something more green. Fruity but unisex. The woody base starts to peak through as well, definitely a clean creamy sandalwood. I couldn't place what the fruitiness I was smelling was for quite awhile. At first it felt tropical, maybe coconut or pineapple.. It just definitely wasn't peach.

Eventually it hit me that what I was smelling was akin to the fig note in Philosykos by Diptyque.

Not what I wanted or expected; not a horrible scent but it does remind me of a candle or home scent rather than something someone would want to wear as a perfume.e

More Fields than Peach
I had high hopes for this fragrance, especially judging by the top notes. I love the idea of peach, grapefruit, and mandarin together. Unfortunately, my experience ended up being much like other reviewers who have commented that this isn't what they were looking for in a peach-forward fragrance. I got too many florals and not enough juicy, peachy goodness. I also got a heavy dose of vanilla in the beginning, and although I've enjoyed a blend of peach and vanilla notes in other fragrances (such as in Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Vanille Iconique), I don't think the white peach used here worked nearly as well, or maybe the balance was just off. In short, I think the emphasis here is more on "Fields" and less on "Peach." If you go into it with that in mind, hopefully you won't be as disappointed as I was.

Dirt.
This smells like the field dirt and not the peach. Not a pleasant scent. Aside from that, like most of Skylar’s products, the longevity and sillage are not much to be excited about. It is a very light fragrance and it does not travel far or last long. Good thing because it is not a pleasant experience to smell dirt and rotting fields all day. 1/10 rating.

This is a simple, light scent, but to me it smells like pear. I sampled while wearing Grand Soir and the combination is amazing.

Fresh green peach. Not really fruity or sweet, just really green with a slight scent of a fresh peach.

Fuzzy peaches mixed with delicate flowers and woody accords. A chameleon scent that can be worn during any weather, but shines in cold temp.
