Superdry, the sweet incense stick
Black is besides Steel the second Superdry fragrance in Zippo-Style flask. In this case, the flask is black with dark glass. I like the package as it is something special and suits well to the fashion of this label.
Black surely is the more eccentric of the twins: starts with an exciting fruitiness, which appears to be spicy, somewhere between licorize and spicy candy but never to flashy. Then a woody note appears which is comfortably smoky and in which one can think of olibanum. In combination with the fading but still present sweetness an awesome combination. This fragrance is more for the cold seasons but it should be possible to wear it the whole year at least for the evening.
Lasts medium to long.

Fruit Candies for Little Boys.
Black is the second release from Superdry, alongside Steel, which I found today at the Türkisen. The similar design indicates: they are brothers, but not twins. Black is the younger of the two. While Steel already seems quite mature, you could easily gift the wearer of Black a bag of gummy bears - he would probably be delighted.

Black is sweeter and also a bit more oriental than Steel. Fans of One Million and the like will enjoy it. While Steel comes across as somewhat dignified and elegant, Black impresses with a real standout: a distinct fruity note that dominates even into the heart note and constitutes the entire appeal of Black. I smell something dark - something between black cherry and plum. If it were a yogurt, I would eat it!

Behind the fruitiness, Black reveals herbal, spicy, woody, and other aspects. A similarity to One Million and Le Male is faintly suggested. No new direction really emerges, but that would only distract.

I think Black is good. I like it, and the fruitiness displayed here is almost experimental. I probably wouldn’t wear Black myself - I’ve outgrown that age.

Oops..
... I actually imagine that with such a fragrance pyramid something interesting would come out. But squeezing so much boredom into a scent is almost an art form.

When applying this fragrance, you first get gummy bear fruits with a hint of lemon in your nose. Floral and spicy notes also want to mix in, but they don't really add anything special to this perfume. The attempt to round it off with leather, slightly mossy, smoky, and woody accords completely fails. This scent ends up dry and is very synthetic the whole time.

The longevity and sillage are, like with the other fragrances, simply below average.

This is a dry scent that is suitable for young guys from around 18 years old. It can be worn all year round. Whether in school or the office, anyone who wants can also wear it in the evening.

If you like a strongly synthetic woody boring scent, you can take a look at this one.

In Familiar Waters
A perfume that is truly very versatile.
First, there are the fruits, sweet and fresh, while at the same time a large concentrated burst of spices emerges from the heart note.
Then, quite surprisingly, lavender comes around the corner, and I have to think of Le Male; almost at the same moment, a familiar One Mille sweetness greets me, and I wonder if the manufacturer intended to combine these two scents.

In the end, after about 5 hours, you can only smell one thing: LEATHER
Ultimately, it's a scent that one can enjoy smelling, but I wouldn't wear it; I don't really feel comfortable with it and can't particularly identify with it.

The name says it all, really super dry..
This fragrance has stressed me out more and more every time I wore it. I couldn't perceive anything fruity in this scent, just woody and smoky, quite flat and somewhat cheap.
It subtly gets on your nerves.
Fortunately, I finished it, but that was just as pleasant as getting stuck in an elevator.
Horrible scent...

A synthetic scent that adds a bit of freshness, but feels too artificial for me.
