Dubai in a bottle..
For me, as I said, Dubai in a bottle. The fragrance has a new bottle, so don’t be surprised if you buy it and the bottle looks different. The bottle is now silver and opaque. The scent strongly leans towards Baccarat Rouge 540 but in a much drier and more masculine way, where the amber is very prominent. The fragrance starts off very spicy with a totally wonderful pine note that gives the scent a certain something. It’s a bit like Baccarat Rouge 540 but very dry with a very distinct forest note. I only perceive the white rose very subtly. For me, it remains a dry amber scent with a lot of spice and a hint of vanilla. Not too sweet and very oriental without being too extreme and overwhelming.
If some gentlemen here like Baccarat Rouge 540 but find it a bit too feminine and sweet, they will find what they are looking for here. However, I find the scent unisex and also wearable for a woman. I wear it myself, but you really have to love oriental spicy perfumes, as I do, for example..
