Spicy-sweet Citrus Ice Tea
For me Terres Dorées Thé Vert fulfills all desires of a perfect high quality green tea fragrance. It definitely has the traditional French style "thé vert" accord but with some interesting twists. I love how this house does the citrus notes so I find the opening blast of mandarin and bergamot very enjoyable. I'm not a biggest fan of mint but here it's so well blended that it isn't overpowering at all and I enjoy its refreshing touch in the background. I also love when, together with a very clean green tea note, the rhubarb and ginger facets start to dominate the drydown because both are among my top favourite notes. Thé Vert is very easy to wear and I have noticed that I'm drawn towards it in any situation when I'm unsure which perfume to choose because for me it's a comforting "safe space" fragrance that makes me feel better in any situation. Very uplifting and meditative positive vibes smell, nothing overly complex but still everything that I wish for a perfect everyday perfume. Smelling it teleports me immediately to a flower decorated terrace of some wonderful vintage style café, I'm enjoying of a pleasantly warm lazy summer day, just watching people passing by and sipping my refreshing spicy-sweet citrus ice tea.
