The Sweeter Little Sister of Cool Water
Zelidja is a gorgeous fresh beachy fragrance in the genre of the 1990s style calone aquatics like Cool Water Woman or L'Eau d'Issey Eau de Toilette. In the opening I get lots of watery fruit notes and sea air. It reminds me of a wonderful windy but sunny day on a tropical island, salty breeze and waves crashing. Due to the vanillic-woody base notes, during the drydown Zelidja transforms sweeter, more powdery and less salty but still with fresh marine undertone so it never gets cloying or musty. I recommend Zelidja to all who are looking for a modern sweeter alternative for Cool Water with decent projection.
