Dark Smoke Rises Up....
In the first opening, I perceive amber and smoky vanilla paired with something woody - old, almost spiritual. Patchouli that you let drop onto an old, valuable weathered leather, and always with this smoky vanilla note, a wonderfully warm and deep scent, a bit sensual, perfect for diving into one's personal OOHHMM ...
I hardly notice the rose at all; it gets overshadowed as this perfume has almost a slightly sticky-sweet component, but not unpleasant or disturbing. It reminds me more of a good rose honey that delicately spreads its aroma. It makes the whole thing very lasting, very familiar to me, and very inviting. For me, it's just the right scent for right now - the dark, cold, often foggy mystical time. It’s not mega new in its kind but somehow different, indeed special; it stands out and is very well perceived by my surroundings. It lasts all day for me, and I still notice a fine scent aura even late in the day. The price for the size is already considerable - but lovers of special treasures will surely gladly add this trophy to their collection.
