Cheap Pansche
If this had been my first test of Jôvan, I would not have discovered my new favorite scent. I would steer clear of their fragrances. This scent reinforces all the clichés that a drugstore fragrance, which doesn't cost much, is cheap. The fragrance starts immediately with musk, vanilla, and a large portion of coconut. I could also smell Tiare. Although neither is supposed to be in it, I can smell them. Bergamot and lemon, as well as pink pepper, are misrepresented. I did not experience a heart note. Nor a base note. The scent hit with full force right away and remained that way until it faded after about 3 hours. After that, I detected a hint of sandalwood on my skin. All in all, a very sweet, heavy, and intrusive scent that makes the wearer seem cheap because it is so loud and has too much of everything in it. The individual fragrance notes are hard to detect and disharmonious. I generally like the musk scent when it is used purposefully and rounds out a fragrance. Too heavy for summer and too summery for winter.

Heartless Brew
I picked up Musk oil Trocial Musk at the drugstore, following the motto that it didn’t smell bad on the card. I actually don’t find it that bad at all. For very little money, it is quite presentable. My criticism of the scent has two points: 1. TM smells sweet, sweet, sweeter, very sweet. And the components in the scent development don’t come together; instead, they fall apart for me. Alongside the sweetness, some mixture of aldehydes takes the lead.
The top note of citrusy scent elements is not present for me. Pepper is also absent, so there’s no significance in the scent from the pepper components. Longevity is mediocre on me; it lasts about 5 hours. Musk with wood and aldehydes carries the fragrance. I find it far too heavy sweet for summer. For me, it’s a scent for winter, spring, and autumn. The sillage is strong but not dynamic, just one-dimensional. Sorry, it smells cheap, clumsy, and uninspired to me.
The bottle is fine for the price-performance ratio, I think.
Putting the price aside, I find it somehow carelessly thrown together. There are other fragrances that are significantly better. White Musk by Jovan smells great to my nose, with a super price-performance ratio. But well, if customers are to be charged for ever new creations, then it seems to be done quickly brewed. Love for scent is different. But the high price segments in the fragrance area do that too.
I appeal to test it and form an opinion. Most of us are often in the drugstore discount.

Fruity sweetness combined with floral, stuffy creaminess - you really have to like the aldehydes. :-/

Somehow an "impulse buy". It's not a stinky mess, but nothing special either. Fresh rose, 'Tropic' through aldehydes. I'm disappointed.

Its tropical flair consists of yucca palms, hibiscus plants, and fruity snacks from an open office, mixed with aldehydes.

At first, it disguises itself as nice and coconutty, but in the end, it's just another sprout from the LVEB clan. Although a rather weak one.

I'm not really a fan of "shower gel scents." This one is fresh and shower-like. Surprisingly okay. Nothing special, but not something to run away from.

I don't love it, fruity on top, something dull underneath; it repels me & yet I want to sniff it again and again; strictly for home.
