Cheap Pansche
If this had been my first test of Jôvan, I would not have discovered my new favorite scent. I would steer clear of their fragrances. This scent reinforces all the clichés that a drugstore fragrance, which doesn't cost much, is cheap. The fragrance starts immediately with musk, vanilla, and a large portion of coconut. I could also smell Tiare. Although neither is supposed to be in it, I can smell them. Bergamot and lemon, as well as pink pepper, are misrepresented. I did not experience a heart note. Nor a base note. The scent hit with full force right away and remained that way until it faded after about 3 hours. After that, I detected a hint of sandalwood on my skin. All in all, a very sweet, heavy, and intrusive scent that makes the wearer seem cheap because it is so loud and has too much of everything in it. The individual fragrance notes are hard to detect and disharmonious. I generally like the musk scent when it is used purposefully and rounds out a fragrance. Too heavy for summer and too summery for winter.
