Winter? More like Bogoss Night

A funky smelly opening that develops into something nice within 20 minutes and keeps its subtle fresh strength for good 4 hours, then sits closer to the skin.

It's like a pineapple flavoured sweet whiskey of sorts. I have never had Big Apple Martini - a drink that is supposed to be a strong inspiration for this fragrance - so I can't tell if it's that.

While comparing them with the OG VL Bogoss and Midnight Hour (also boozy pineapple) I thought it's a cross between the two, but Midnight Hour goes into its mild section much quicker than Bogoss Winter, so it's a good trait of the newcomer. On the other hand Midnight Hour's far drydown is much more "full" and round.

VL Bogoss is much softer than its Winter counterpart. Performance is similar so I can't really recommend it for freezing winter. More like summer nights.

Alcoholized pineapple

My first impression: an overripe pineapple. However, the cognac quickly asserted itself, which incidentally also lasts a very long time. The apple contributes a little to the fruitiness, but the cognac clearly dominates - even the next day when you spray the bogoss on your clothes.
I like the fragrance; however, I'm not quite sure when I can wear it. Can I wear it to work or will I quickly be considered an alcoholic? Probably more for going out ...
This has nothing to do with the original Vibrant Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum. Similarities with the normal Bogoss Vibrant Leather can only be found in the first few minutes.
The bottle is high-quality and classically pretty (magnetic lid).
So: Rather for the sedate gentleman on a winter evening ...

I'm in the mood for something today...

... fresh for dessert. What else have I got? A pineapple, an apple and something citrusy OK and there's also a cognac. Yes, that will be something. So I chop it up. Add a little sugar and the cognac, let it steep a little and then enjoy.

When you apply this fragrance, the first thing you notice is the pineapple with a certain sweetness. This is soon followed by the apple, turning it into a small fruit cocktail that still gets its alcoholic notes from the cognac and not from a cheap one. The bamboo adds something green and aquatic and slightly fresh, which is underlined by the citrus fruits. Papyrus gives this perfume something woody. The leather mixes in to give this fragrance a grown-up feel and the patchouli gives it a slightly dark, mysterious accent.

The longevity and silage are good.

Zara has launched a men's fragrance here that I actually see as unisex. Ladies can also try this fragrance here. I find it wearable from the age of 20, I can't really imagine it for younger people. There is no upper limit. It can be worn both during the day and in the evening in the office, when shopping, meeting in a coffee shop, in a bar, in a club or even for dinner.

If you like a sweet fruity slightly citrusy fresh fruity alcoholic aquatic scent with some leather and dark accents, this is the right fragrance for you at a very low price.
