Peony Hides in the Flower Bed
Usually, Zara only displays a few fragrance notes, at most three. I’m not used to such a detailed fragrance pyramid from Zara! However, with this scent, the fragrance pyramid doesn’t help me at all. To be honest, I can’t perceive much of what’s listed there. A bit fruity, a bit floral, a bit sweet, a bit green. But I can’t really identify any specific notes. This is one of those perfumes that remains indefinable for me from start to finish.
Over time, the floral aspect definitely becomes more dominant, and a certain freshness is added. I don’t specifically smell peony.
I can’t perceive vanilla/tonka bean/praline in the base. For me, the scent remains floral until the end.
The fragrance isn’t bad; especially in spring, it can be worn well in everyday life. But it’s certainly not a head-turner, remaining inconspicuous in the background. I had hoped for a nice peony scent, but unfortunately, I didn’t get that.
Longevity and sillage are good, but by no means exceptional, which is something you shouldn’t expect from such an inexpensive fragrance. In my eyes, it’s absolutely okay.
