Never judge a fragrance by its appearance.
Real Time products usually feature good looking boxes & great styled, sometimes even odd bottles. Not this time: the appearance of "Night Canyon" appears just as plain and generic as they get. The box features a generic oval-grid background and the dark bottle has a classic narrow and rounded look. After having said that, HOWEVER, I have to say the fragrance is very good. You smell bergamot at the beginning and a not very durable but firm base tobacco note. You should respray it every 2/3 hours to keep it perceivable, but at this price point it's fine. Good product!

Glow and Gleam
The name Night Canyon catches the attention. Blue appearance + Night, Nightflight! But wait, this one looks so cheap. I probably would have never tested it if it hadn't found its way to me. However, I've never been averse to a little souvenir.

At first, this little water has presence. It is consistently marked by olive blossom with tobacco, but at the start, it is slightly refreshed by bergamot; it softens the harsh character. Although I did not perceive (star) anise and leather, I did notice quite a bit of lemon instead. I also have the feeling that Night Canyon smells like soap. This combination of (olive) tobacco-lemon reminds me of Tabac Original. Clean yet masculine, but unfortunately not as manly as Tabac.

Longevity is decent, but sillage soon becomes close to the skin. A pleasant scent for days with morning meetings and/or presentations; afterwards, you can continue to work on files - or whatever - with a subtle scent.
Night Canyon: big enough for men, but not yet for gentlemen.

Dilemma between interesting scent and lukewarm water
So now the time has come. Night Canyon has prompted me to write my first comment here.
Honestly, I don't really know what to make of the scent!
At first, I like it very much. But after a short time, I have to realize that the sillage and longevity are not quite up to par. After now 2 hours, only a fraction of the aroma remains, and to still perceive it, I have to get very close.

It may be that we currently have over 30 degrees. But isn't it usually the case that scents are more present at higher temperatures, especially at the beginning?

Nevertheless, I would like to give a brief description of the smell:
It starts slightly citrusy with what I find to be a quite strong tobacco note. This fades after a short time, and it becomes sweeter with a hint of the Orient and leather emerging.
As a fragrance novice, recognizing the individual scents is rather difficult for me.
The smell seems so familiar to me, but from where? Eventually, I figure it out. It reminds me of this scented liquid soap, but which one? I'm still wavering between Olive & Milk and Almond Milk aroma.
In the end, it doesn't really matter, because the scent is pleasant. If only it were a bit more intense... :(

I tried to do some research, but I didn't find much. However, I stumbled upon the note "Inspired by Armani Code" somewhere. That might also explain why I think of perfume-laden air in the subway.
Unfortunately, I don't have the scent of the Armani in my nose; I will have to check that out at the perfumery at some point.

In summary, I would say that one shouldn't expect too much for the low price. In terms of scent, there are definitely worse options in this price range. Only the longevity and sillage leave much to be desired. But perhaps it will improve a bit at lower temperatures.

Very mediocre men's fragrance, a bit fresh, slightly spicy. A man is somewhat scented, but he could also skip it...

Bought it blind today. The scent feels so familiar... I quite like it, but I'm not sure if I'll wear it to the office.

Dupe to Armani Code.. The cheapest perfume ever (100ml/1.99)... I didn't expect much, but it smells pretty okay. H&S as expected almost at 0.

Simple, ordinary clean man scent:
citrus olive soap with tobacco, nothing more.
