Lemonade twist, grape soda. Thats very sunny smell!

Atelier cologne is popular with its fresh citrus scents. This is my first Atelier experience. Opening is citrusy at the same time sweet. Sweetness is like honey so its coming from maple syrup and blaccurrant. This scent will remind you:lemon soda, lemon candy, lemonade, raisins. Very bright smell, my mother loved it(she likes light fresh scents most.) I get a bit raisins effect too. This scent is similar to (my idea) Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Sun for women and Light Blue italian zest for women. I didnt wait myself like it much because Im not always fresh lover. (more powdery, floral prefers) I mostly get lemonade/lemon or grape soda feeling in it. Sometimes(rare) I get green apple vibe too. Its totally unisex, males can use it with no hesitate. Best season: Summer but spring is good choice too. In other seasons when weather is hotter than normal you can spray. Leisure time, business, beach, friends meeting, girl boy date, visit relatives... Every occasion is suitable for Citron D'erable. Time: of course daytime. When you spray Citron D'erable; sunny and cloudy days will come to your memory. Longevity and sillage: Not so big but no bad too. Dont forget Atelier colognes are different twists of COLOGNE. So waiting for a cologne:beastmode projection it sounds stupid.

So, today I am the proud owner of Citron d'Erable. My first fragrance from the brand.

The bottle of the perfume delights my eyes and raises my anticipation. It was a blind purchase; I really wanted a fresh scent from this line with a small 30 ml bottle and matching leather case, and this one appealed to me based on its composition.
So now we have a tie: 50% female and 50% male owners here on Parfumo. However, only 12 people have the little citrus gem.

At first, it has a zesty, juicy, sweet-sour fruity, naturally occurring lemon. I can definitely relate to the comparison with the candy.
Then, after about 10 minutes, it becomes ethereal and clarifying, still lemony - the sweetness fades away, and now the blackcurrant is noticeable as another fruit; it becomes bitter and fresh, even slightly maritime-spicy and thus refreshing.
After 1 hour, it becomes closer to the skin, calmer due to woody elements: fresh, spicy, woody, and also just a bit foresty-warm-cozy with a returning light sweetness, no longer citrusy, yet still blackcurrant fruity, balsamic, and quite subtly resinous-oily.
It stays like this for another 2 hours.
Ohh, it’s lovely!
No, it’s beautiful!!

... and what does he say?:
"Unisex? - Mmmh, I find it rather feminine."
After 15 minutes:
"Oh, this is good. You can put it on my shelf; I like it!"

I find the blue color choice of the bottle, or rather the label/case in yellow, very characteristic and fitting!

Childhood Memory of Lemon Drops

I admit that I really like many fragrances from Atelier Cologne. I was even more pleased when the Bon Voyage collection finally became available to us recently (before that, a distributor from Austria had secured exclusive distribution in Austria for 2 years).
I find all the fragrances in the collection very successful, but I have a special connection to Citron d'Érable. The scent immediately reminded me of the sweet lemon candies that my father kept in a tin in his car for many years. I believe they were fruit candies from Kalfany - and often, when I was a "little rascal" traveling in the car with my father, I would ask him if I could have one of his fruit candies. As simple as it was, it was something very special to me, and I still associate it with him today, even though he has been gone for some time.
The scent is fruity-sweet for me, but not so sugary that it would be unwearable for a man. The longevity is, as expected from Atelier Cologne, quite remarkable for a citrus fragrance. And alongside the sweet freshness, it also has something warm and enveloping. For me - aside from my personal memory - it is an absolute feel-good scent, although I wouldn't necessarily want to wear it every day.

More than a Lemon

He comes in a bit pulpy,

A lemon, tart, gripping, and full of spirit,
Atelier Cologne rarely fails me.

The famous beloved blackcurrant plays a significant role,
as if sunshine is sprinkling from Frau Holle's pillow.

Never too sweet, never sticky, not even arbitrary,
other citruses seem slightly feverish in comparison.

This vitamin-rich mix is truly easy to bear,
even at 30 degrees plus, no one will complain quickly.

So if you like it a bit rounder and more sparkling,
please say hello to this new little star.

Sometimes feminine, then it shows its sour side,
for a lemon, it surprisingly broadens out.

A thin layer of maple syrup envelops this rascal,
not that I’ll ring the next pancake place afterwards.

Longevity: 5 hours is sufficient

Very nice and interesting scent. Opens with blast of citruses, pepper, sweetened with maple syrup. Dries down to sweet herbal-woody base.

Half-gourmand. Creamy-spicy wrapped fruit mix, subtly woody on top. Reminds me a bit of Boss Orange, but more refined. Very pleasant!
