Leaf Forest and Carrots...Interesting!
Many thanks to Sören for the sample of Irida Extrait :-) This is quite an intriguing and distinctive fragrance. The longevity is impressive at 10 to 12 hours. The sillage is somewhat more restrained, in my opinion.
The top note reminds me of a walk through a leaf forest, after the first green leaves sprout in spring. Violet leaves contribute to this effect. The heart note is powdery and floral. Interestingly, aromas of carrots and parsnips also emerge here. Violets, jasmine flowers, and iris cleverly make their way in. The base has a balsamic, woody, and vanilla scent with notes of amber, sandalwood, ambrette seeds, and cedarwood.
This is a truly exciting fresh fragrance. Anyone who enjoys the combination of lipstick, green foliage, and floral hints should definitely take a "look" here.
