The Better Gold Bar

I was at DM again today after a long time. I usually always take something fragrant with me from there, also from Rossmann. I didn't have much time, saw this fragrance here and its two brothers. I sprayed each tester briefly into the air, lowered my mask, perceived the scent cloud, and this one immediately appealed to me, which is why a few sprays ended up on my wrist. 5 euros for 60ml. The whole way home I kept sniffing. It's amazing what some companies throw on the market for little money. I also immediately thought of One Million, but this one is fruitier, less sweet. The lavender and nutmeg add a pleasantly spicy aroma to the fruits. I also perceive tonka bean, musk, and a hint of cedar. Definitely all ingredients are very well dosed. For me, the better "gold bar," as it is simply more balanced. Worth a blind buy for 5 euros. Longevity on my skin is about 7 hours. Sillage is good at first, but after 1 hour it's not as present, yet still pleasantly accompanying.

How unexpectedly wonderful!

As I was looking at all the perfumes from the Dm next door, this beautiful bottle of perfume caught my eye right away, and with Intense Gold, I knew it was an oriental scent. So I picked it up immediately and sprayed it on, and I noticed the freshness and sweetness right away. This delightful freshness and also a lovely not too overpowering sweetness that gradually faded. Then there was this light fruitiness and woodiness emerging, accompanied by a spiciness. Really, it was simply wonderful and very unexpected. So I thought to myself, I absolutely have to have this, and then I saw the price - 5 euros! That really surprised me.

What I noticed immediately was the good, really good sillage, as everyone around me noticed this scent, and some couldn't stop giving compliments. The longevity was also much better than expected for this price range, as I could still perceive the scent well after 5-6 hours.

The bottle is also really just beautiful in its color combination of gold and black. P/L is simply really top for this price.

Designer Killer

I stumbled upon it at DM, had never heard of the brand Câline before.

Quickly sniffed the tester, sprayed it on my arm, and immediately took two home.

The scent reminds me a bit of One Million but without the headache. Sweet, spicy, somehow oily in the background.

Unbeatable for the price. H/S for a drugstore cheapie is great. The scent profile could also be a designer fragrance.

Should it be sweet?

I'm not really the type for sweet fragrances. I keep trying them out and always come back to the fact that I need a bit of citrus to go along with it. I have to admit, Intense Gold is not bad - it's relatively strong, spicy-sweet. Later, it becomes a bit more bitter, but with a lot of amber and pleasantness. However, I've smelled similar scents quite often. In this price range and direction, there are several other candidates that are worth recommending. I tend to lean more towards Hunter for Men. Still, a good fragrance for the price.

My First Câline and Instantly in Love

At DM, I tested fragrances again and by chance grabbed the Intense Gold, sprayed it on the test strip, and smelled it. First impression, WOW what a mega beautiful sweetness, spicy cinnamon bomb. First thought, I need this, I looked at the price 5 € (now 6.45 €) and took it right away. It became my loyal companion throughout the winter and I always received compliments. Then I saw on Parfumo, aha a 1 Million dupe, many even say it's the better 1 Million. The original is unfortunately quite worn out, but these additional notes of apple, nutmeg, lavender, tonka bean, musk, and cedarwood make this scent a bit rounder, more balanced, and better tuned in my opinion. But be careful with the dosage, it can trigger sneezing due to the spicy cinnamon nutmeg combo, my first Câline and I'm instantly in love. The bottle is simply black, elegantly designed, with golden lettering, the sprayer is also well made, sillage and longevity for the price are very good, I can only recommend it.

Sweet fruits, a hint of rose with cinnamon, lots of tonka with even more sweetness + powdery musk. If 1 Million smells like this, I haven't missed anything.
