Norse Hell
Niflheim (World of mist) can be considered as sort of a Norse hell. It was the second of the two primordial realms to emanate out of Ginnungagap, the other one being Muspelheim (World of fire). Between these two realms, creation began when its waters mixed with the heat of Muspelheim to form a "creating steam". Later, it became the abode of Hel, a goddess daughter of Loki, and the afterlife for her subjects, those who did not die a heroic or notable death.
The perfume is a story of suffering, translated into struggle and contrast between the notes: spiciness and freshness, warm and chill. This fragrance is unique and very strange in a good way, a whole wearing experience. It tells you a story rather than focusing on a blend of notes and a pyramid.
The ingredients of Niflheim are also based on Norse mythology: the Vikings used to burn lavender, fir, flowers, honey and dragon's blood resins in ritual ceremonies.
