This scent is truly a fragrance born from the whispers of an ancient Japanese incense recipe
Kyoto Zen Garden opens with floral notes from the Mangolian and Gardenia with a touch of Oud and smoke. This scent is truly a fragrance born from the whispers of an ancient Japanese incense recipe, and for those who are familiar with Japanese kodo rituals, culture/ceremony will feel this scent from the get go.
The smoke of Hinoki and the earthiness from Vietnamese Oud really showcase themselves in this composition. There's nothing fecal or barnyard type of smell here. However, the scent is pleasantly balmy, incensy, and slightly peppery, and this is the kind of scent that promotes feelings of meditation with its calming floral aromas.
The base settles on something creamy and balsamic, which comes from Sandalwood and Resins, while the white pepper retains its position by adding warmth to it.
