Alpha, dark scent with great quality/price
The bottle is to my taste very pretty, black glass and gold, the cap is heavy and fits perfectly.
I had the opportunity to smell The voice of the snake from Gucci a couple of times, but I do not own a bottle.
Is it a good clone? a good perfume? yes, absolutely, there are differences of course, The Gucci scent smells higher quality, but that does not mean The hunting blend is not a good perfume.
One thing was clear to me is that Gucci's is creamier and a bit more floral and because of that the scent is more elegant, and lets say, friendly.
The Hunting blend is darker, more aggressive..there is a note of shoe polish that is quite strong. The scent is harsh, masculine, and I like that a lot.
I dont know about the longevity of the Gucci, but the Hunting blend, last long time..quite incredible for the price.....but if you want more projection, you will have to apply a lot.
The synthetic oud is not fecal at all, but is strong and a bit sweet.
Is also quite linear, you get mainly oud...and saffron and patchouli from the beginning to the end. I detect a hint of rose and amber. Apparently there is also mimosa and Iris but I can not detect those notes.
In the end, this is an Alpha, masculine, dark scent, if you are into that, you must try it, the quality/price is just amazing.
Alberto Morillas created the Voice of the Snake and also the Gucci Guilty absolute ( one of my favorite scents all time) some people here suggested that the Voice of the snake and the Guilty absolute are similar, but I do not agree..may be if you take out the Vetiver from the Guilty Absolute, but then only in the dry down.
