smells like a Christmas market
I wanted to try something new and decided to make a blind purchase. I was able to get hold of the bottle cheaply and I actually love blind purchases - even if they are sometimes mistakes. Unfortunately, this was one such mistake.
The fragrance.... how should I put it? Burnt, smoky, woody, with an extremely sweet and intrusive cotton candy / marshmallow note. I think that's exactly what this fragrance is trying to recreate - a campfire - so very well done and compliments at this point. But I just think that this combination doesn't go together here, and I don't want to smell like a Christmas market. Above all, the whole thing smells very artificial.
Longevity is there! Sillage too. But it's no use if the fragrance isn't good.
Ultimately, it's a matter of taste - and for me, it's nothing at all.
If you're looking for a sweet winter fragrance, I think you're better off somewhere else. If you want something cheaper (in the same price range), then Liquid Brun from French Avenue, for example. A thousand times better.
