Potential all-rounder in the blue sea of lavender
First of all: If you are looking for a good daily/outdoor fragrance in designer quality for little money, this is the best place to go.
Jack (of Clubs) starts quite refreshingly with bergamot and a concentrated 'blue' load of cardamom. The fragrance initially wants to reveal its citrus for two minutes, which in my opinion it does with flying colors in a masculine undertone, although I really have to miss the ginger! Not a trace of it far and wide!
So, the drydown begins. Here the fragrance takes the fresh 'blue' with it into a sea of lavender and powderiness. Cedarwood can only be recognized in a hint. What a pity!
Nevertheless: I simply love the DNA. Many would apparently recognize the Bleu Electrique here. To me, it seems like the blue brother of LNDL EDP, as I only know the former from myths.
Sillage and longevity are rather average in my opinion. Lasting 4h afterwards relatively close to the skin and sillage quite moderate for the first 2 hours. For the price but a) no drama and b) according to the reviews on other platforms, one hopes for a promising increase in performance after the first 2-4 weeks. (This will have to be followed by an edit).
Now, where and when would I wear this fragrance? From my point of view, it is perfectly suitable as a daily. I also don't see why it shouldn't be used in every season. It simply always works in my opinion. Even with its (you might not believe it at this price) fragrance profile + performance at designer level, I can imagine it very well on a date night.
Bottle is quite nice and for the price you accept the iconic design with a kiss. Looks much less attractive in pictures than it really is. In reality, however, it complements one or two perfume collections with its unusual appearance. A set of playing cards is included in the package, which made me smile. Sprayer is slightly above average.
All in all, a very cost-effective addition to my perfume collection without having to compromise on quality. Now the targeted ageing in OVP just has to show its effect :)
