A realistic, plain frankincense fragrance.
The opening is a blast of acrid smoke, without that zingy citrusy eugenol and elmi found in, say, Series 3: Incense - Avignon, Cardinal, Full Incense, and without that much incense right off the bat either; it's like so much incense has been burnt at the start that the smell's become too heavy.
There's a bit of dry palo santo as well, though nothing much, and after 20-30 minutes the heavy smokiness subsides, leaving more room to the balsamic incense contoured by a nice and airy smoke, which feels sweet by comparison but is still quite dry.
Projection is moderate and dominated by the acrid accord in the beginning, subsiding with it after a short while, and longevity is about average on my skin.
What's most noteworthy about this fragrance, in my opinion, is the lack of that very balsamic, resinous accord found in church incense and the aforementioned fragrances, the one that's sometimes described as cola-like.
Well, it's still there, but it's not nearly as strong as one might expect from an incense fragrance, rather it's softer, simpler, more airy, and very realistic - an acquaintance of mine smelled it and said to him it's the exact same smell as burning Omani frankincense.
