A fantasy of perfume
Made tea party is JUSt... GREAT! AMAZING! FABULOUS!..... MARVELOUS!

This has directly become one of my Favourite perfumes, maybe not for everybody but...if you like It you Will LOVE It!

The scent is very difficult to describe. It is powdery and very creamy and butter with a very nice iris. It is Woody, smoky and a bit sweet, almost gourmand but a very special kind of gourmand since It is also smoky and a bit dirty.

Very alcoholic and liquor due to the whisky and with a very noticeable Cocoa on the basement.

The central note is the tea, with Its Green, aromatic and spicy character.

It is a very complete fragrance, a bit difficult but incredibly original and pleasant. It smells like luxury!

Le Frag has become one of my Favourite brands as every of the perfumes I have tried is perfect and Jimmy Bodin is also becoming one of my Favourite perfumers.

Tea and cookies time
Immediately sprayed, it looks like a tea bag under your nose: hyper-realistic.
This tea, however, is accompanied by scones and buttery cocoa cookies.
The lactonic part, in fact, becomes co-starred shortly.
Continuing on, only the tea part remains, somewhat floral (although there are no flowers in the pyramid), and some caramel emerges in the bottom.
Compared to Pippilotta and Genesis you can feel that there is no Matos' hand and this, for my very personal taste, is a shame.

Alice in Wonderland
This artwork by Aga Lewandowska truly deserves attention.
For me, she is a significant perfumer...not for the mainstream. Aga is different, telling stories with her art projects...I love that. Scents that throw you into new worlds, presenting me with unexpected compositions, surprising me, delighting me, guiding me, making me dream.

I am a fan of Miguel Matos, who also surprises time and again and paints pictures in my head. (Just as a parallel - this one is not by Matos... it was Jimmy Bodin)
For me, this is "fragrance art"... when the scent carries me... is independent... I am thrilled and hope that we will get more from Aga Lewandowska. A unique and brave artist.

Now I arrive at the "Mad Tea Party" and am welcomed with buckets full of butter, warm, soft, and welcoming.
The name naturally evokes the association with "Alice in Wonderland."
I see the Cheshire Cat sitting at the richly laid table along with all sorts of fantastical figures.
Normality has no place anymore, the rules are lifted. Everything is new, and you must open your heart and mind to grasp this new fragrance world.
Just when I think, yes I believe I have it, a new impression comes... Fruits are abundant at this garden party, a bit tart but ripe and dark, yes black currants, dark and juicy... how wonderful...

And while my mouth waters and I dream of cream,
I jump through the mirror and see my grandpa in his beloved, well-worn armchair, smoking, sipping whiskey... he looks content as he gazes out the window.

Everything becomes calm, peaceful, and together we eat mountains of (slightly burnt) caramel candies and butter cake with thick creamy cream... The sweetness remains, the smoke fades, and I thank for this wonderful journey; different and always again, the scents from Le Frag are an experience... wearing them is an event.

From terrible to "Where are you?"
The start is absolutely dreadful. Turpentine in its worst form + a black tea that has steeped for several hours. After about 20 minutes, it becomes a perfume: woody, creamy, getting softer and after just 1 hour I have to search for the scent… Let's see. A slightly fruity note still shows itself. It retreats to my skin very quickly and hardly gives off anything. Even now (after about 3 hours) I can recognize the blackcurrant with a bit of cream, but only with my nose on the skin.

Conclusion: That was nothing. Terrible start and then a "find-me" scent and the price I just googled: €145.00/50 ml.

An Exciting Composition
Whether one likes the scent or not, it can certainly be stated upfront that the combination of the selected fragrance notes does not appear to be "simple."
This is precisely what distinguishes the perfumer Jimmy Bodin.
In one of his contributions, I read that he enjoys composing scents today that he has not encountered on his olfactory world journey.

I had not yet had a fragrance like this in my collection. For this reason, I ordered a sample, as the combination of tea, milk, whiskey, iris, and butter piqued my curiosity.

There are already some opinions about this still quite new fragrance. As it always is, one can agree with some opinions, while others one cannot at all.
For me, this often adds to the allure, as all opinions are authentically represented from A to Z.

The scent opens on my skin, probably thanks to the toffee, with a cloud-like sweetness, which quickly settles down.
Then, an authentic tea note emerges, which is consistently accompanied from the start by iris and butter, hence: iris butter :)
What I did not expect at all is the fact that black currant will seriously work its way to the surface here. Nevertheless, it does, and after 2-3 minutes of application, it gives the fragrance a pleasant touch.

Whiskey hardly shows itself to me, or not at all. At least, I do not perceive it in the texture.
The iris butter remains sharp and accompanies the fragrance until the end, which was to be expected.
I do not smell anything rancid or musty; the black currant excellently counteracts that.
The black tea gradually fades away.

I associate the scent more with the female gender and would probably only wear it on very selected occasions. Nevertheless, I find this perfume exciting, somewhat different, and quite successful.
In conclusion, I see a creamy and rather heavy texture, which, however, does not feel overwhelming and is refreshed accordingly by the black currant.

In my opinion, longevity and sillage are undoubtedly to be classified in the upper third.

This smells like a sudden blast of improvised jazz music. It's a chaotic party, where everything is fighting for your attention.

I never would have imagined that I would find an iris scent disgusting. Iris in rancid-greasy milk soup.

Went to the party without expectations and got: A cup of black tea, lightly sweetened. Not unlike my morning Darjeeling. Not mad.

Iris/carrot butter = plastic note
Subtly detectable in the background,
slightly fruity teen note.
Quickly turns sugary, milky.
Not my cup of tea.
