More Floral Than Fruity
I'd consider this 75% gardenia, 25% coconut.
The gardenia is pretty creamy and the coconut, or as much of it as I can detect, is smooth. Similarly to Lait de Coco, it isn't beachy or sunscreen-esque. And, especially paired with gardenia here, it's more reminiscent of a hair/bath product.
The florals are prominent throughout the entire scent journey. Very bright, green, and zesty. Almost like citrus? There's nothing musky or powdery about it, and it's very one note (literally haha).
I have the most neutral of neutral feelings about Fleur Monoï. It's a nice scent, albeit very simple. I don't think I'd wear it alone; it could be improved by layering. Over Lait de Coco if you'd like to emphasize the diminished coconut note, or over Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, if you'd like to assist in that beautiful scent's very, very sad longevity.
