Perfect for fall

I love wearing this in the fall. It's a spicy/sweet vanilla, like a chai drink. The longevity and sillage are
good, I've found it lasts 7-8 hours on me. It pairs great with hempz pumpkin chai and vanilla lotion, and bath and body works pumpkin cupcake body spray. It's my favorite perfume from Le Monde Gourmand.
Keep an eye out on Amazon! I got the big 2.5 oz one for $25 when it was on sale.

a warm sweater

smells like the embodiment of a cozy cashmere sweater! Don’t get much chai here, but it’s more so like an ultra musky, fluffy, and softly sweet sweater with very subtle spices to it. It’s soft, mildly sweet, very musky, and has a warm woody spice underlying. Such a cozy scent with a name that doesn’t really match

Cozy spiced vanilla for chilly days

Le Mond Gourmand’s Chai Épicé is a new favorite in my collection. Of course, I am biased towards gourmands, but I couldn’t help but pick this one out from the rest of the tester selection for purchase. Sometimes I feel lacking on a really solid vanilla fragrance, so Chai Épicé fills a niche. It’s sweet and spicy, but not too spicy— more like a creamy spiced latte with a hint of fresh pastry. The vanilla mingles graciously with almond. The gentle sea salt note adds something special to enhance the warmth and richness of the fragrance. Positively cozy, yummy, and feel-good, making this a great choice for autumn and early winter. You’re on a date at a small town coffee shop, sitting close, and dressed up to the neck in soft scarves and coats. It’s cold outside, but warm drinks make you both feel toasty inside and out.

Surprisingly buttery! Honestly, in terms of scent profile, it's one of Le Monde Gourmand's best. It sits in that same space as Replica's By the Fireplace, Philosophy's Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, and Clinique's My Happy Cookies & Kisses.

However, it struggles with the same problem that plagues the rest of the LMG offering—longevity and projection. I love a budget perfume, I really do, but it needs to actually function as a fine fragrance. Their scents disappear under an hour, often under 30 minutes.

(On a random note, when sprayed on paper blotters, the ginger in this reminds me exactly of the Shin Ramyun flavoring packets. I was shocked. I had to look up Shin Ramyun, and apparently, ginger is one of the ingredients. However, this similarity doesn't come across when sprayed on the body. I just thought that was funny and wanted to share!)

Spicy sweet gourmand

Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE this scent. It's not like chai exactly, it's actually a bit fresh with hints of spices and vanilla. The salt note is actually noticeable, and adds to the freshness. That being said, it does not last very long. I try to extend the life with other oils, but it's sad as I really want this scent to be the main star. However, with the amazing price point, I really cannot complain too much.
