not really creme brulee

this smells like a very powdery almond scent with some added powdery violet and sweet musks. I would say the opening does have a toasty quality to it, hence the roasted almond note, but it’s definitely very powdery. The scent becomes more floral as time goes on, maintaining the powdery touch. Dry down is much muskier and not as powdery, with a bit of a sweet woody touch. Don’t think the name makes much sense, but it’s a lovely scent either way.

Not what I expected

I got this from TJ maxx for ~$12, and I'm glad I didn't buy it on Amazon for double that.
I can't really rate the longevity or sillage because as soon as I put this on I washed it off. I don't smell any cream from this fragrance at all,,, it just smells sweet to me, not really any distinctive notes I can pick out. I expected a creamy, vanillic custardy scent and this is not it. I'd recommend just skipping this one. If you want a better Le Monde Gourmand perfume I'd recommend Chai Epicè instead.
