My first review and the entry into the big world of perfume. And it just so happens to be for an Eau de Parfum that has no reviews yet and seemingly doesn't get the attention it deserves... and that's a shame!

If you love the morning coffee scent from your paper cup at work, then this perfume is for you. It allows the aroma to linger for hours after enjoying the warm drink and finds its best justification here. Vanilla and sandalwood accompany it, giving the fragrance a certain sweetness.

I see it best, as mentioned, in the morning at work, but care must be taken not to use too many sprays, as the scent is very intense. I would definitely describe the perfume as unisex.

A delicious fresh really good barista somewhere in a warm place. The scent of fresh Amalfi lemons (they're the best, you know, you can even eat the peel, yummy yummy) wafts into my nose and sweet white flowers join in. One word - vacation, the first day and I enjoy this feeling and this wonderful scent. After about half an hour, the fine scent of coffee remains with undertones of noble wood and the subtle sweetness of vanilla. Normally, you wouldn’t perfume yourself with a coffee aroma, actually… here it makes perfect sense because it creates a cool connection with your own skin and becomes very gourmand. Simply beautiful, the mood fits, enjoying the sweet life. On an afternoon with the first warm rays of sunshine somewhere, and I’m waiting for something exciting to happen today…
The longevity is quite decent at around 6 hours, price for 50 ml is 120 euros, the bottles are simply designed but contain an extremely interesting and exciting content.

Coffee is actually one of the notes that I can't stand in perfumes. The coffee in the fragrances I've tested so far has always been somehow bitter, biting, almost burnt. That's why I had actually decided never to test coffee scents again. However, a sales associate in a perfume store sprayed "Costa Rica" on me to test without me knowing that the fragrance contains a coffee accord. I sniffed and was initially taken with it, and I remained so as the scent developed. The coffee here is beautifully sweet, but not too sweet, as if flavored with caramel syrup.
At the beginning, the lemon seems a bit disturbing; in my opinion, it doesn't pair very well with the coffee. However, I don't find it particularly bad, especially since the citrus note fades away after a few minutes. Ginger lingers for a while, and it fits quite well. The coffee becomes the main player of the fragrance after about 15 minutes. The flowers creatively and interestingly underscore the coffee; they are used rather subtly, allowing the coffee to remain dominant. I can only faintly detect the base notes. Towards the end, the scent primarily smells of the beautifully soft, sweet caramel coffee. "Costa Rica" is very intense and has impressed me so much that I treated myself to a bottle (there was a 20% discount).

Tough decision. I didn't know the brand at all, found this little bottle and the others in a perfume shop. They looked interesting, the concept seems cool. So I tried most of them on paper. And on paper, I liked Costa Rica the best. A beautiful, realistic coffee with a floral ensemble. A few weeks went by and I found myself thinking about the scent more and more, even as a non-coffee drinker. So I went back there and tried it on my skin. And unfortunately, I was disappointed. Somehow it feels heavier and more monotonous. The scent just doesn't suit me. Well, not everything can go perfectly. So my conclusion for myself: Great on paper, less so on my skin.

After searching for an "authentic" coffee scent for ages (the most common response to this inquiry was unfortunately Black Opium, and sorry, but to me it smells like everything but coffee), I was recommended this little gem in a small perfumery during late-night shopping. And finally, there it is, the coffee! Full blast and with a good dose of lemon. At first, it sounds like a strange combination, but it works fantastically. The citrus makes the scent lighter and takes away the gourmand aspect, making it suitable for not-too-hot summer days. For me, it's an absolutely great coffee scent and a recommendation for those looking for a lot of coffee.
