a non-groundbreaking but good fruity warm amber
Didn't blow me away, but it definitely understood the assignment.
Rich, pleasant fruity amber, that feels very dense, resinous and somewhat boozy - it does, in fact, have something liquor-ish and/or edible about it, like drinking something delicious in an Oriental market.
That being said, I don't find it particularly outstanding among all the good-smelling perfumes in the same category. I'm surely gonna finish my sample and I would totally wear it if I somehow got in possession of a bottle, but this doesn't compel me enough to actually buy one for my collection.
Pleasant but there are way more interesting releases from the brand, and more unique takes on a similar scent profile (Plum in Cognac by Scents of the Wood is the first that comes to my mind).
