once it matures, it's just as enjoyable as the other crystal noirs
This one is insane. I got it because I have all the Crystal Noir flankers (love them all) and had gone through half the 90ml EDP in a month, yikes. All the reviews were stellar, what could go wrong? Of course I immediately regretted it, as first spray out of the bottle smelled stale. Stale baby powder, flower stems going mushy. I was so pissed at it and its stupid heavy bottle too, I almost tossed it in the trash (only recycling guilt stopped me). Wrote and deleted a couple of annoyed reviews bc, hey, what if it changes?
And it did. It just took 3 weeks from arrival. Right now, it has that lovely swoony coconut sandalwood of Crystal Noir, though not much of the dusty pepper cardamom topnote, so some people might like this one better. When i want the sharp fresh green note, I go to Crystal Noir EDT. But this one, wow, I got it for 11 euros. 1/6 the price of the EDP and it does settle down to pull its weight. Nice.
[ETA] end of August, barely 2months later, it even has the peppery top note. This one definitely stands proudly next to all her crystal noir sister flankers.
