Juicy green mango

A potent green mango scent. Sweet and unyielding. Performance is very good. I wouldn’t recommend more than 3 sprays. Reminds me of polo black and to a lesser degree Paris Hilton’s. And I’m sure it’s a good dupe of God of Fire too but I’ve never smelled that one.

It was a blind buy on Amazon for $15. I’d say it’s a great deal.

First impression

On first impression, trying it through the day, it starts a bit feminine, but absolutely a mango bomb, one thing i havent noticed is the citrus, i might notice it after some more wears.
in the opening it is as i said, a bit feminine because of the floral, but drying down i get more mango, in the mids, it gets more spicy, and reminds me a little of pacific chill because of the fruitiness, and in the end it gets more musky, but stays with the mango throughout, and as i said, reminds me a bit of pacific chill. Smells like a weekend getaway, or just a good time, cant really imagine it as a daily driver, very much a vacation scent.

Great cheerful fruity scent

Now, once again, a review about a Maison Alhambra. Most of the fragrances from this brand really convince me, as these "inspired" scents are well executed and the price difference to the originals doesn't seem so large. For me, this Malachite is one of the best fragrances from this brand. I've had quite a few from this brand under my nose, but this one simply feels refreshing and cheerful. The quality of these notes really smells good with these fruity-fresh accents. The inspiration is, of course, the hyped fragrance "God of Fire | Stéphane Humbert Lucas." It's already a great scent that will appeal to the masses with its pleasant fruity-exotic notes. You can't go wrong with this fragrance, especially when wearing a cool casual outfit. The fruity notes feel invigorating and provide that carefree feeling on warm and hot days.

The Malachite is one of 4 fragrances from the Sceptre line, which all have a uniform bottle design. These 4 fragrances are all inspired by niche scents. This one, as mentioned, is inspired by God of Fire, which is quite well captured and already a great alternative for a small budget.
Fans of fruity fragrances will definitely get their money's worth here. Even though mango is not listed, it has a strong mango vibe with this slightly exotic fruity note. This slightly green-bitter mandarin also plays a role here and provides a wonderful contrast. Citrusy bergamot and a fresh, slightly tart blackcurrant also enliven this great top note very well. A pleasant spiciness joins in, which mixes beautifully with the fruits. Soft aromatic notes also come into play in the heart note, making this creation very pleasant. The green-fresh notes feel very invigorating and are great for warm and hot temperatures. The fruity notes last relatively long, so this fragrance retains the charm of the top note for a long time. In the base, this scent becomes a bit warmer with amber, clean, slightly creamy musk, and also light woods. The base is very soft and sensual. However, the star of this creation is definitely this exotic-fruity top note that you simply have to like. Definitely extremely mass-appealing without becoming generic. A great unisex scent that radiates good vibes.
Performance is quite positively rated, lasting up to 8-10 hours with really good projection. It's worth it for everyday wear and leisure, especially in sunshine and daylight.

For me, it's a fragrance that I can recommend unconditionally. If you like fruity scents and move in a modern casual style, this is definitely a great addition, especially for this price. A real crowd-pleaser.

The Peppery Dupe

Basically, I find it really very similar to God of Fire and "Vulcan Feu | French Avenue", with the twist that the mango is indeed a bit more subtle. Otherwise, I think everyone knows one of the two fragrances by now, so I won't go into the main notes further.

What is extremely pronounced on my skin, however, is the pepper.

After spraying, a pleasant, noticeable pepper note develops after about 10 minutes that I don't have as pronounced in the original or in Vulcan Feu.

A Vulcan Feu lover asked me if I had layered it with a pepper scent, and that's exactly how I would describe it.

Personally, I find it a bit better and easier to wear in everyday life and at work because of this twist.

The little brother who always tries hard!

Okay, folks, let's be clear: "Malachit" is for me like the little, cheeky brother of "God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas," who only ever gets to hear how great his big brother is!
He really makes an effort to come close to his celebrated role model/brother, whom I unfortunately only know through TikTok and the like!

After spraying it on, my first thought was: "Whoa, did I accidentally get the much-praised God of Fire?"
The mango note is present, as well as something cozy and woody.
After a while, I think to myself, the little one is like the bigger one after a long party night - slightly exhausted, maybe not as striking, but still charming and above all, noticeable!
While the "real" God of Fire, as the online community calls it, is supposed to be a flaming spectacle, Malachit reminds me more of a beautiful fireplace.
The mango comes across slightly sweet, a bit zesty, with a light oud note for me (even though it’s not listed at all), and is nicely subtle.
Price-performance ratio? Incredible for that!
H/S? For the price? Great!
Anyone who likes God of Fire or at least knows it through social media posts and is curious but wants to save their wallet will, in my opinion, get a solid, appealing clone/little brother here.
While it certainly can't compete with the original, it still brings me joy!
A truly beautiful scent for every day that lifts my spirits without breaking my budget.
My respect to Maison Alhambra!
