F*** Alternative

The Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum is a fragrance that I believe is very controversial. Some love it, others hate it. I now belong to those who love it. However, that wasn't the case at first! This only changed after I tested the fragrance more intensely a few times.

I won't go into the exact scent notes now, as they are listed above. You definitely have to test the fragrance yourself to know if you like it. When I wore the fragrance, I also received comments that I smelled like baby wipes. My girlfriend doesn't like the scent at all. She thinks it smells like "old grandpa" to her... That's definitely not how you want to smell in your mid-20s. So the fragrance is definitely a matter of taste.

Of course, the price for the OG is steep, which is why one can certainly look for alternatives. In short: the Fusion Intense is an extremely well-done alternative. Sure, the OG smells more luxurious, but a layperson won't be able to distinguish the scent in the air from the OG. And with the price difference, everyone can decide for themselves what to choose. Personally, I would opt for the alternative in this case, as the extra cost is not worth it for me. For other fragrances, I prefer to stick with the original.

Great Intense FF Dupe

Continuing with the Maison Alhambra line inspired by Tom Ford's Private Blends. This famous line is what made this sub-brand by Lattafa truly famous. As is well known, this brand had to change the appearance and names of these fragrances, as Tom Ford did not approve of them at all. This is also a testament to good work, as the fragrances were more than just a good alternative for this price segment. This alternative to Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum is my favorite in this line alongside the dupe for Cherry Smoke. The original by TF is quite amazing and simply a great dark scent for the evening. Here you get an adequate alternative that is not much worse than the original. The compositions are very similar to the originals, only the quality of the fragrance notes is somewhat lower. Nevertheless, the quality is very satisfactory and definitely leans towards designer. This Fusion Intense was previously called Fabulo Intense. I secured 2 pieces of the Fabulo, as it was said that they would disappear again. The Fusion Intense is of course the same scent with a new name and bottle.

Price-wise, this is obviously a drastic difference. Especially the Fabulous is one of the more expensive ones in the Private Blend. Here you get 80ml for an unbeatable €15. The bottle and packaging are decent. The packaging still resembles that of the TF Private Blends.
The scent, as mentioned, is very similar to the TF, I would say about 90-95%. At least in the top note. This is really well done with a slightly darker mysterious aura for the evening. You definitely get the bitter almond as the main player here, enveloped by a wonderful dark leather note and a lot of sweetness from tonka bean and vanilla. Also in the opening, lavender and sage were chosen, so the start feels a bit softer and also slightly fresh. After hour 2, the scent becomes a bit heavier, although it remains within limits. Here you get a scent of a more sensual nature. The almond note convinces with the noble leather and iris also joins in after a while, which is slightly powdery. Along with a wonderful sweetness that feels elegant. The end consists of amber, cashmeran, and light soft woods that let this scent fade softly. Overall, a great alternative that is particularly elegant in the first 2-3 hours and is not inferior to the original in many aspects.
Performance is also quite good here with about 8 hours. The sillage is very noticeable for 3-4 hours, then it becomes a bit milder. Overall very satisfactory.

For me, a great alternative and at the price of €15, I think you don't have to think much about it. A scent that can be worn well in the evening and, due to the price, also for daily use. Definitely well done.

For me, the best dupe for F******Fabulous!

The Fusion Intense starts with a fresh-spicy opening of sage and lavender that never completely disappears throughout the fragrance but rather resonates in the background.
In my opinion, the transition to almond and vanilla happens very quickly, and these notes together create the well-known creamy, soft, and very delicious scent.
As it develops, the fragrance remains consistent; only later does a gentle(!) leather note come in, adding more depth to the scent and making it a bit "calmer".
I find that the Fusion Intense, in contrast to its inspiration, the Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum, seems to scream for "attention", while the OG feels "calm and balanced".
Nevertheless, I find the Fusion Intense very successful, and its longevity as well as the sillage are in the above-average range.
Here, you can expect a longevity of 7-8 hours, even longer on clothing.
Regarding the sillage, I find it remarkable that I can perceive myself well and still catch this pleasant scent after hours. I don't experience this with many fragrances, as you either become "scent-blind" or the sillage significantly decreases over time.

Conclusion:
Personally, I still find the Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum a notch better, but I will keep the Fusion Intense nonetheless, as it comes 90% close to the OG, allowing for significant savings.
The price-performance ratio of the Fusion Intense is simply top-notch! You can get it for 15,- for 80ml without shipping, while the Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum starts at 150,- for 50ml(!)...
