Rivers of Siam? No...
Anyone who has been to Thailand knows...the rivers there are not what you would want in a perfume...and yet...this perfume is quite successful
I am testing the Extrait version here - apparently, it hasn't made it into the system yet...
So what do I get in my nose - this thing is not really simple...
Lavender and orange blossom are clearly noticeable at the beginning...bergamot is more subdued...
Intensely, the suede comes through early...a bit of iris...creamy embraced by sandalwood...birch brings a woody, green fresh aspect...osmanthus adds a certain sweetness...
The base is musky...yes...there's enough in there and a hint of vanilla underlies it all...it becomes more pronounced very late
A complex thing...especially with the Extrait...please use only in tiny amounts, otherwise it will be a bomb.
Summer? Winter? I am undecided...death by blind purchase without longer testing could happen at any moment...this thing is really special...I need to test it much longer myself to write a good review - but if you find it anywhere - definitely give it a try...
