Currently disappointed

I was so excited for this one, I was actually expecting to be buying it since I personally love Maison Mataha fragrances, but I’m finding this disappointing. Nice but bland and nothing to write home about. Maybe my sample needs to recover from shipping, which is quite possible. I’ll leave it to sit a week and retest it, but currently I find this really faint.

I’m not getting much from this scent. I actually get some resemblance to Evaison Bon Bon. Just a hint. It has slight candy vibes and a hint of sandalwood. I’m not getting any florals or fruits what so ever, other than a brief smell of peach as it sprays out the bottle before disappearing completely. I guess I can see the comparison to 100 silent ways which I also find bland, boring and weak. Hopefully this one improves. I’ll update my review if it does, but so far it’s a pass for me!

A comforting hug

I’m wrapped in a beautiful cashmere blanket, warm and content. Someone is eating a creamsicle near by and it reminds me of home. I am fancy, I am safe, I am happy. It’s less sharp that hundred silent ways and it sweeter in the dry down. Beautifully blended to perfection, it’s appropriate for all seasons. It projects well and has good longevity, but I’m sure overspraying could make it beast mode. I’m glad it’s not, I like the option to dial it up or down. Just a beautiful, likable but still very unique scent.

Beautiful but fleeting

Printemps Blanc seemed at first like the creamy white floral of my dreams—no screechiness, no cloying bubble-gum undertones—but it only lasts about 2 hours on skin and 4-5 on clothing. As much as I love it, my budget doesn’t allow for a full bottle at the current price for something I have to overspray 3-4 times a day to fully enjoy. I’m gutted.

NOT the new LDBS

To anyone who came here by Paulina's recommendation: this is NOT 'the new Love don't be shy'. At all.
It's nice, but very faint, barely noticeable, and with no character.
I can see why that comparison was made because there is like 3% of LDBS sweet orange blossom there. But then, there are so many orange blossom perfumes out there, it could be anything.
No tea note either.
Not similar to HSW, though it could be seen in the same style, but HSW is a hundred ;) times better.
Also, none of the Wedding Silk Santal sparkle there either.
It's a nice, sweet yet very subtle perfume, but that's it.

i was so excited to actually like a maison mataha fragrance that i decided to get a sample and test on skin to see if it would be a viable full bottle purchase. it is really lovely on skin—there is somehow a spa-like quality, maybe a little bit shampooey, but still sweet and creamy, but it immediately brings to mind SDJ 59 which is more affordable, more accessible, and already in my collection. they're not identical but having both as a regular perfume enjoying civilian would be redundant in my opinion.
