A beautiful girl's fragrance
The "Jardin d'Essai | Maïssa" is definitely not unisex and much more feminine than youthful and girly. That's not just my opinion, my best friend was of the same opinion. But we both still find this fragrance quite successful and beautiful. The longevity on my skin is really strong at around 12 hours, but the scent becomes skin-deep relatively quickly. I rate the sillage accordingly moderate.
The top note starts off decidedly berry, fruity, sweet and citrusy with aromas of raspberries, bergamot, strawberries, mandarins and orange peel. A certain synthetic quality can be detected in the background. The heart note continues to smell sweet but also gourmand and indefinably woody with caramel and berries. The base still smells sweet but also creamy and somewhat balsamic with bourbon vanilla, tonka beans, benzoin and amber.
For me as a man, "Jardin d'Essai | Maïssa" is not necessarily suitable, but I would find it very beautiful on young-at-heart women.
