Solid but rather too flowery and feminine for me
When I looked at the fragrance pyramid, I really thought that I would really like Le Protocole Royal, but in the end I wasn't quite satisfied. I find it too floral, rather feminine and therefore not really suited to me. The sillage is actually quite good, at least my work colleague smelled me in the brewhouse even though I'd been sitting in the lab for 15 minutes. She said I smelled totally like violets. The longevity on my skin is okay at 6 to 7 hours.
The top note starts off fresh, sweet and somehow berry in a synthetic way - raspberries can only be sniffed out to a limited extent. An intense rose aroma also emerges here. The heart note continues to offer a sea of flowers consisting of rose water, cyclamen, iris, freesia and rose geranium. Lily of the valley and narcissus also create a somewhat greenish-floral aroma. The base again has a sweet scent with nuances of bourbon vanilla, benzoin and ambroxan.
It's a shame that Le Protocole Royal didn't quite click with me, but if you like roses, you should give this one a sniff.
