Open Sesame

Subtle, creamy, delicate, almost fragile and yet so beautiful. For me, it's a cream scent, vanilla cream with a slight citrus note. No lactonic note; this creaminess probably comes from the sesame combined with cream and musk. I perceive the longevity and sillage as moderate. Those who like fragrances such as Widian White or Trussardi my Name should give it a try. In the dry down, a delicate vanilla cream lingers that flirts with orange blossom.

Creamy Citrus

When I saw the fragrance notes of Blanc Sesame, I knew right away: I’m going to like this!
Sesame has become one of my newest favorite notes. So I was all the more disappointed that I couldn’t detect any sesame at all. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a lovely scent; it’s just not what I expected. During further testing, I adjusted my expectations and ended up loving the fragrance.
What stands out to me upon the first spray is a pleasantly sweet citrus, reminiscent of scents like Lira. It is quickly followed by a nice creaminess à la Signature, which doesn’t change throughout the fragrance’s development. Together, it creates a creamy-sweet, citrusy Cleangirl scent that is wearable all year round. A nice bonus is the fairly strong sillage in the first hour. After that, the fragrance becomes quite close to the skin and lasts about 5-6 hours.

At first, it's a light, clear, almost transparent gourmand. But in the drydown, it loses its twist & its gourmand quality and becomes too soapy for me.
