The flowery honey
After I really liked the Halwa Kiss Eau de Parfum, I blindly bought it after reading the fragrance pyramid.
First of all... I would advise everyone to get a sample first.
The perfume is good, but different than expected (at least for me).
About the fragrance:
It starts with a slightly spicy, floral mandarin due to the pepper and heliotrope.
The honey already resonates slightly in the background.
Over time, the mandarin fades into the background, making way for honeysuckle and, above all, osmanthus, and the fragrance becomes sweet and floral. The osmanthus is and remains the most present fragrance, which stays until the end. After some time in the drydown, the vanilla also emerges, which harmonizes wonderfully with the honey. The honey continues to accompany the fragrance and gives it a certain sweetness and something gourmand... however, it has to be said that anyone expecting a honey bomb ala Halwa Kiss Eau de Parfum or Oajan will be disappointed The honey is a constant companion, but (probably due to the combination with the musk) rather in a light/bright form. In addition, the patchouli ensures that the honey is not too sweet.
On my skin, the fragrance unfortunately only becomes perceptible very quickly close to the skin and becomes lighter and lighter.
Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend lovers of osmanthus and honey fragrances to give it a try.
