BR in portable form
The scent reminds me immediately after spraying of Baccarat Rouge, but it is not as intense and in your face as that one. It starts with a beautifully sweet orange, with saffron quickly joining in. The fragrance notes are beautifully intertwined. Jasmine is only lightly dosed. After about 20 minutes, Jour 21 develops into a woody, amber, slightly smoky scent that I find very pleasant. A light sweetness is a constant companion. Over the course of its development, the woody amber accord becomes a bit more intense and the fragrance gains depth. For me, Jour 21 has a very attractive, sexy character. I see it as a nice alternative to BR. It is certainly a bit simpler in construction, but that is mainly why it is more wearable for me and not overwhelming. If I had to choose between the two perfumes, I would choose Jour 21.
