Cheirosa's 2nd cousin
I have always loved SDJ's '71 but it's not worth the 2 seconds it lasts on my skin. I got the '62 perfume and it was a no-go for me. Now I have this and it's what I have waited for.
This is not an exact dupe of '71 because there's no powder or salt that I can tell. This is more cookie than coconut (thank goodness); and there is some nuttiness in there too. It's all the softness and tropical vibe without those others that add a little balance. But I will take it! As this is the first day, I'm shocked at how good it already smells so I'll be excited to see what some time does for it. Right now, I also notice a note of sunscreen (but not in a bad way).
I'm going to try layering this with Junoon (super powder) or Saskeen (a tangy sweet), and Eclair or Athena (which might not work), and... The Molten Caramel I have on the way.
I need someone to hit me up with a suggestion for another layering option. I'd love to get some salt on this. And since I can't stop thinking about how this relates to SDJ '71, this does have that sweet & buttery caramel popcorn vibe. That might be much to much for some people. This is not a safe blind buy - even if you like the '71.
If this doesn't change a bit & if I can't find a layering scent to even it out, it will make a great pillow and sheet scent. It's that cozy, comforting scent that will induce sweet dreams.
This and the Caramel that's coming soon are the only 2 P.C. scents I have. I need to take a closer look at the brand.
BTW: The packaging is really pretty in a subtle & classy way. The bottle is sweetly cute and perfect for the fragrance.
