Finally a great summer scent with coconut
It is really not easy to find a good coconut scent; in my opinion, there are few, and they are mostly synthetic and not very pleasant.
Before I got the "Coconut Lagoon | Ministry of Gourmand," I came across the "Endless Summer | Amando Perez," which simply smelled like toilet cleaner with a hint of coconut.
Here, coconut and bergamot are also in the foreground, but compared to Amando Perez, the Paris Corner is on a completely different level.

Many do not perceive the coconut in the opening; I, on the other hand, smell it right from the start.
Although bergamot and mandarin are initially a bit more noticeable, in the background, there is a beautiful creamy coconut that fortunately does not smell synthetic.
After this wonderful opening, it was immediately clear to me that I had finally found the almost perfect coconut scent.

CL remains quite linear; in the dry down, the coconut becomes more prominent.
A great, summery mix develops of 50% bergamot/mandarin and 50% sweet creamy coconut.
However, the citrus notes prevent it from being overly sweet, making it wearable even in summer.
I find the bergamot not as fresh as in many other fragrances, but it still gives the scent a light freshness.

To be honest, I don't perceive anything from the heart note.
With a bit of imagination, maybe the apple, but there's no trace of watermelon or caramel here.

The performance is not the best.
In the first 60 to 90 minutes, I can smell it well; after that, it’s just there without projecting strongly.
Here, the more sprays, the better.
So it's actually perfect for the office and in general situations where you want to smell good but not disturb anyone.

I find Coconut Lagoon unisex, but I see it more on a man (M60%/40%W).

Skip the Endless Summer and get the Coconut Lagoon instead.
I can only recommend it; I think it's really great and will definitely wear it more often this summer.

My Summer Fragrance of the Year
I had been searching for a coconut scent that possesses a citrusy freshness and is therefore also suitable for wearing in the summer.
All the previous fragrances I had tested in this direction did not convince me, as they were either too synthetic or reminded me of a bathroom cleaner.
Some time ago, I received a fragrance letter that included, among other things, a sample of "Coconut Lagoon | Ministry of Gourmand." Since I had only heard good things about the scent so far, I was curious to see how I would like it.

"Coconut Lagoon" starts off very citrusy and fresh.
Sweet lemon immediately dominates, complemented by an additional mandarin.
The mandarin contributes a sweet-fruity and zesty nuance from the very beginning, even though the lemon remains the more prominent note.

Lemon and mandarin continue to be present, while after a short time, the coconut makes its appearance. Although it stays more in the background, it is consistently very noticeable and present.
It is very authentic and beautifully creamy.

The scent progression is quite linear.
Only in the drydown does a slightly sweet, subtle apple note come into play, but it hardly plays a role and only appears briefly.

Lemon and coconut clearly stand out throughout the entire progression, with the coconut becoming increasingly prominent and gaining creaminess as time goes on.

The longevity is moderate and could be better for a fresh fragrance.
In the first 2 hours, I perceive it well, but after that, it quickly loses intensity.
I would have wished for better performance here.
However, considering that the scent is available for relatively little money, one can spray it on more frequently without hesitation.

Coconut Lagoon is a unisex fragrance that leans neither feminine nor masculine.

In summary, I really liked "Coconut Lagoon."
It is the perfect summer fragrance, as it combines sweetness, fruitiness, and freshness, with the citrusy coconut note appearing particularly authentic.
The scent seems to be of high quality and, due to its price, is a must-have for the warm season. It is the ideal companion even in very high temperatures because of its freshness.

I have found my summer fragrance with it that I have been searching for a long time, which is why a bottle has joined my collection.
For anyone looking for a fresh and pleasantly sweet coconut-lemon scent for the upcoming summer, I can wholeheartedly recommend this fragrance.

Mojito and Coconut
I bought the fragrance completely blind when I stumbled upon it while searching for summer scents, and I was not disappointed.

One of my main reasons for my interest in the fragrance was the coconut note. I've always liked coconut, both the taste and the smell, but after 20 perfumes, I still didn't have one with a clear coconut note.

As for the actual scent (I can only comment on H/S in the summer after wearing it extensively): The fragrance starts exactly like my title: a lot of citrus in the form of lime (Mojito vibes) mixed with fruitiness and coconut. Over time, the citrus component fades into the background and then disappears completely. What remains is a lot of fruitiness (I can't pinpoint it exactly, just a fruit cocktail or something) accompanied by coconut.

The fragrance is unisex and tends to be feminine if anything. Not for a macho. But for those, like me, who enjoy such scents, it can be worn easily. It's not something I would say is difficult for a man to wear. For me, it's a special fragrance; I knew (and know) nothing comparable, and for the price, it's a no-brainer if you like this general type of scent.

A Tropical Breeze... as Beautiful as Fleeting
I have tested Coconut Lagoon for several days now in direct comparison to its "older brother," Malibu Party, and I come to the following conclusion.
The scent lives up to what the ingredients promise. A beautiful lime-coconut mix, where, unlike Malibu Party, the coconut and a certain gourmand sweetness take over more quickly. However, this is absolutely suitable for summer and definitely wearable for both men and women. The biggest drawback for me is the longevity and sillage... more than three hours is not achievable for me regarding longevity on my skin - and I consciously did not "over-spray" during testing to avoid becoming nose-blind too quickly. However, in its defense, it shares this fate with its counterpart. I also perceive Malibu Party on my skin after three hours only very, very close and faintly. Those who prefer something fresher, with more lime, will be better served with Malibu. For the slightly "sweeter" among us, Coconut Lagoon is the right choice. In the short drydown, I hardly notice any differences anymore.
Considering the price, I stick with Coconut Lagoon and gladly spray a bit more often - because this fantastic scent deserves to be noticed by the outside world as well.

Lime Zest with Green Coconut
It's like squeezing a fresh lime peel on your wrist - simply very refreshing. Not particularly complex, but if you like limes with green coconut, I can't imagine anything better.
My only criticism would be that Coconut Lagoon doesn't last very long, especially not on the skin.

Does not smell like VIW. Not even close. It does smell pretty nice though, candied sweet fresh coconut drink.

Coconut, citrus and caramel. Summer perfection. Definitely not a clone, more so inspired by others in this category. My most worn this year.

Fresh sweet lemon with a hint of watermelon. I really notice the coconut only in the drydown.
Zesty, refreshing, unisex.

A fleeting lime-coconut vacation. Fresh, aqua, pleasantly sweet. After 2 hours, it’s a quick flight back home because I forgot sunscreen.

A unique tropical summer cocktail. Not a clone, at least not one I know of. The quality of the scent for the price is amazing.

You can buy it, but you don't have to. Not the best coconut scent. It's quite cheap, but nothing special.

Fresh coconut with a slightly sweeter touch compared to Malibu. The fresh zest doesn't come through as well here.
