Amazing Oud!

Opening gave me a scare, ha ha. It opens with this peanut butter/Nutella-like sweet note. I suppose it's designed to grab attention, not scare people . I was thinking, "damn, this needs oud amped up by 200% and this sweetness to die down," and sure enough, a few minutes later, the sweetness decreases and the oud amps up by 200%. I have pure oud sample from the same region in my collection, and I enjoy that oud a lot. I can clearly sense it in this fragrance. I love it. I would place this scent in the category of Areej Le Doré Russian oud and Bortnikoff Lao oud. But in terms of the oud used here alone, I would choose it over the other two. Truly a great first experience with the house. I will be buying new releases when they become available. Excellent blending and materials used here. Good sprayer. Packaging and cap are not fancy, but tasteful. That says to me that money is being put where it counts the most: the juice. Would recommend for people who like chocolaty oud.

Cocoa and Oud

For those who don't know this brand yet, I can assure you that Miyaz has an amazing quality. Handcrafted to the max and excellent raw materials. Here it is possible to immediately feel the note of cocoa which prevails over all. Vanilla, iris, in the heart notes. In the base notes the Oud which is perceived very well without being stinky at all. It is a creamy, chocolaty and buttery scent with a great longevity.

Buttery Iris cocoa

Next in Wishlist, with a very recognizable imprint of the brand.
Opens buttery and slightly powdery, with dark, dark cocoa.
Spicy and amber parts make the base that contains Oud and tonka stronger, therefore with a slightly almond and vanilla aspect.
The same sandalwood present in Fleur Tabac makes everything more mellow and creamy.

Civet Brews Coffee in Sumatra

In the dark gourmand rainforest lives
the little cat Kopi Luwak, she is the last of her kind and hungry.
Like the day before, she searches for something to eat. In the oud forest, it is already dark, and so she gently and cautiously sneaks along the dry underbrush by the stream where warm, cinnamon cocoa milk flows all day long. After taking a small sip, she continues on and finds in the
sandalwood forest a fully ripe
tonka bean bush. After a short snack, Civet slowly becomes tired and relaxes for a while in the resinous iris field, stuffing herself with a wooden pipe full of fresh vanilla tobacco. She dozes off, dreaming of the beaver: but suddenly it starts to rain, amber clouds gather, a lightning bolt splits two trees, half wet, Civet decides to embark on her journey home through the cinnamon incense mist, and she manages to return just in time and unscathed to her hiding place.

Cocoa oud wood dark and delicious, Civet comes and brews coffee on my skin, freshly ground and black roasted, it flows into the sandalwood which is very pronounced here but beautifully with lots of sticky rice, milk, and a hint of dried cinnamon. The scent unfolds body warm and digs into the skin, leathery, resinous, powdery, creamy the base, the coffee accord is already prominent, tonka bean clearly recognizable, heavy and thick like butter. For a moment, a flash of raspberry chewing gum comes through but quickly fades away. Amber is transparent and supports the individual notes, tobacco leaves in the rain, spicy, resinous, aromatic behind the sandalwood. Civet and leather give it a kick, hardly any animalic notes, a lot of musk, no flowers, hardly cozy. The scent is serious but honest, dark yet also bright, very voluminous and densely intertwined. I believe the oil content is enormous but couldn't find anything. Civet is okay but she has some problem, doesn't really want to cuddle with me. It is a thematic scent, which I find very close to nature, it seems to me of excellent quality. This one is also more suitable for late evening
