The opening was the best

We've probably all experienced fragrances with an awesome opening which then morphs into something less spectacular. That's the case with CoCoLoCo. The opening citrus, mellowed somewhat by a fruity scent (I assume the pineapple) was quickly joined by coconut. This combo - citrus + fruity + coconut was simply awesome. I'm testing this in winter but immediately pictured this as a great summer scent. Unfortunately, that awesome scent was short lived. As it dried down, it got more floral (the jasmine?) becoming a floral + coconut scent. This started to morph again, back to regular citrus + coconut, the floral smell dissipating. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same as the opening scent, which smelled quite natural and real. At this point, the citrus + coconut smelled synthetic, almost like a cleaning product. As time went on and it reduced to a skin scent it was more woody & resin-y. Overall, a disappointment, especially after the awesome start.

Fragrance comes across as unisex. Performance was moderate, as would be expected from a typical freshie. OTOH, I am testing this in winter. With more humid air in summer, it might perform even better.

Coconut lovers...are you ready?

Coconut lovers...are you ready?
Coco Loco, mark my words, will be one of the most popular fragrances with this note.
For me, the best at the moment that I have ever smelt.
A wonderful coconut, finally in evidence, with flowery, citrusy and... spicy notes!
The inspiration is the carnival in Rio, its joy, its lightheartedness, and I must say that this is what this marvellous creation exudes.
I find the bottle amazing, the aroma and persistence astounding... in short, it's on my wishlist and in my opinion it will be a great success when it will arrive in Italy!
I look for it anxiously!

Complex, multifaceted, rich tropical scent

Zaharoff Signature CoCoLoCo (2023) is the latest release from the house, a robust, fresh, sweet blend with a fun, diverse note list but standouts of pineapple, coconut, cedar, benzoin, tonka, and musk, with florals, as well. It gives me a tropical vibe but not stereotypically so, with some savory, spicy, resinous hints in the background to complement the fruit and florals that might be more predictably dominant. Yet it’s neither so sweet nor tart that I’d describe it as a “fruit cocktail” type of fragrance. Rather, it has a convincingly blended vibe that defies some convention and categorization. And while it’s an intense and richly fresh fragrance that I expect to be a summer staple, it, like most of the house, works as a relaxing indoor option and stands out plenty enough to be worn in the cold, as well.

It’s currently out of stock but can be pre-ordered again at a lower-than-usual price of $135 (vs the standard $155) for 60ml, and it performs quite well, not among the very strongest of the house (Signature Leather Tabac holds the crown) but consistent with the better-performing entries in the catalogue.

I wasted money

Cocoloco opens really nice even if really delicate.
I mean, the fragrance started in a way I enjoyed and I felt the difference with other competitors as VIW or Malibu, where the lime is very strong and almost covers the coconut.
But guys, Cocoloco runs like a supercar on skin. After 30 min is already in the late drydown where you can barely feel it as a skin scent with a very delicate musky-coconut.
Guys, it is not a bad fragrance. But I feel like it was incompleted. Like something everybody could create, that is actually nice but that is far from a product ready to be sold.
Poor package, poor bottle, poor cap.
Do not trust influencers. Try it before you buy, and if it lasts on your skin 30 mins but you like the way it is, buy it following only your feelings and aware of what it is.

Disappointment!

Disappointment! I was really looking forward to receiving the perfume. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and reviews. I thought this would be my scent. The box is beautiful, the design is perfect, the scent is flawless. But the longevity is zero. I tried it on several people, but after half an hour on everyone, you couldn't smell any scent. Max a little sweet skin. Very poor longevity. Made in France. Not worth the price at all.
