Sophisticated, sweet, slightly sharp blend, but easy, also
Sartorial Nuit is my second try of the most recent trio of Navitus Parfums releases curated by BowTie Fragrance Guy of YouTube. It’s a semi-fresh, sweet, musky, tonka-led blend that also features orange blossom, lavender, and vanilla. It has a creaminess to it that comes out more in the dry down, after the sharpness of the tonka/lavender fade a bit. The evolution is subtle, as it essentially remains the same scent, with different edges showing a little more after the initial couple hours.
Also, it’s clearly rich and dense, impressive considering that the pricing has come down a bit to $145 for 100ml while still in extrait concentration. I believe for now this fragrance is only sold through the Navitus Parfums website, not yet via any of the Navitus retailers like Perfumology.
Much like Eau Debonaire, I quite like Sartorial Nuit, and would probably give the latter the edge slightly. Both are sophisticated, but the latter is sweeter and denser, and not quite as masculine-leaning as the former, but both are pretty unisex, with a slight masculine touch by modern standards.
