Madeleine Odette Parfum Co. 2024

I’ve said this before but I don’t think that anyone is doing gourmands quite like Odette, especially pastry/bakery adjacent scents. This is another nice one, sweet and delicate. Well worth trying if you are into these…would be nice for a younger girl, maybe?

You really cannot go wrong with any of Odette’s gourmands. This line makes everything smell expensive, decadent, lovely. Not a cheap, cheesy marshmallow or too sweet vanilla in the bunch.

Mouthwateringly delicious gourmand. The coconut, almond, and marzipan reminds me of the most gourmet ice cream I've ever tasted. Reminds me of Mooncake by d'Annam minus the egg yolk & lotus note, I wish I was able to try this one before ordering a secondhand bottle of that, as I think Odette is a better deal.

This is such an excellent and well thought out fragrance. The coconut upon first application is pretty strong and I found it almost be too sweet to be wearable (right at first) but it smelled effortlessly delicious. After only a few minutes both the Chantilly cream note and the almond note started to cut through the sweetened coconut and to me that was when the fragrance truly became magical. After its dry down, I did not find one note to be too overpowering, and found every note to pair perfectly together. This is truly the best cake fragrance I have ever smelled.
However, I found the longevity to be below average on my skin as it barely lasted a few hours, and the silage was weak as well. For such a gorgeous fragrance, it may be worth it to reapply every few hours, but keep in mind that it doesn't last very long nor does it project if you are planning to buy.
