Too Synthetic
I got a 10ml as a freebie because the owner postponed my order for 3 weeks.
I was happy to try the new release, however it never found grace to my nose.

In my opinion, this is way too harsh and synthetic to be pleasant, instead of having a fresh boba you have one of the few pre-made you can find in some sketchy Asian supermarket mixed with a floral toilet freshener (maybe still from the same sketchy supermarket, lol)

Clearly the concept was good but I definitely have an issue about the realisation, it is not up to my expectations. I really wish the best to this guy that do everything independently and who is willing to send from Canada to Europe. But yup, not for me sadly

Starts off floral!
I was SO excited to try this perfume because the notes sound so unique and yummy, however I was initially pretty disappointed when I finally received my bottle.

Right from the start, all I could smell was the orchid. I'm talking a right in your face floral scent. Even when I sprayed it on my skin, it just smelt like flowers to me! I didn't smell any pistachio or taro and it definitely didn't smell lactonic. I felt like I was crazy because all the reviews I've seen were raving about the pistachio, milk and taro notes haha.

I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and I left it on my wrist despite the extremely strong floral scent. Thankfully around the one hour mark, the orchid had dried down to a lighter floral scent. I started to smell some creamy/powdery notes and the slightest hint of nuttiness + taro, which is what I wanted from the beginning!

If you're willing to wait a little while to actually start smelling anything BUT the orchid in this perfume then I'd say it's worth it because the scent does dry down nicely. It's nothing too groundbreaking IMO, but it's not bad!

Pistachio Dream for Gourmand Beginners
Until recently, I didn't like gourmand fragrances. I didn't want to smell like something edible. However, thanks to a few scents I've discovered this year, I've slowly been convinced by the idea of sometimes smelling like something delicious/sweet.
Froth sounded very interesting from the notes, and I decided to order the fragrance blind.

The scent opens directly with roasted pistachios. This "roasted" note likely comes from the pink pepper, as I can't identify any pepper note here otherwise. It smells very beautifully gourmand-creamy-sweet like a pistachio with a hint of sweetness. I can't specifically smell the taro bubble tea note, but there is a milky-sweet aspect that gently envelops you and spreads a comforting feeling. After a while, the fragrance becomes a bit powdery, but it remains sweet and creamy.

It does smell gourmand, but still like a perfume. For those who don't want to smell completely like something edible, this could be the perfect mix of creamy pistachio with a slightly floral-sweet touch. But gourmand fans might also enjoy the fragrance.

For me, Froth is one of my new favorite scents and definitely a highlight of 2024. For summer, I find it a bit too sweet and creamy, but otherwise, I can wear it anytime.

Salty milk with bright orchid and a slight nuttiness. Refreshingly unique.

I don’t get any pistachio or milk. Smells like some average designer perfume, not worth the hype.

In the opening, the salty pistachio comes through strongly with the milk. Then the scent becomes more floral. It's a lovely feel-good fragrance.

Floral-sweet, cozy scent. I'm usually a gourmand fan, not into floral at all, but I was head over heels on the second sniff.

The pistachio-salty caramel opening is very special but unfortunately lasts only a few minutes and then... then it becomes more floral and unspectacular.
